New Fall TV shows you're excited to watch
 

With next week featuring all new comedies...what are some shows you are excited to watch? The critics seem to think "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Invasion" are supposed to be good. But I don't know if I"m into those. But here's a few I'm excited about or semi-excited about.

*"My Name Is Earl" - I like werid comedy, so I have a feeling I'll be pleased with this show. Plus, I love the way Jason Lee looks in all the promos. LOL!! So hopefully, I'll enjoy this.

*"Bones" - Only b/c it has David Boreanaz(Angel,Buffy) in it. And he's hot!

* "How I met your mother" - Its supposed to be good and told as flashbacks. Plus it has Neil Patrick Harris!!

What's everyone else excited or not excited about?

it seems like I have gone back to Fox this season....which of course means that I will be looking for new shows in about a month.....

Prison Break and Reunion

I haven't gotten into any other new shows, I have to remember schedules first

I am actually looking forward to returning shows (again) if I can remember when they come on...

I will miss Joan of Arcadia very much.....:(

I think I might try How I Met Your Mother and Kitchen Confidential this fall. It's the first time in years that I'm actually going to watch new sitcoms by choice. Hope they're as good as advertised.

I know that probably no one else is looking forward to thi one, but I am actually interested in seeing the Apprentice with Martha Stewart. I love the Apprentice seriies with The Donald and I would love to see Martha Fire someone. :D

Prison Break is awesome, and the show with Michael Rappaport looks good too.

Bones. The Pilot was pretty good.

Ghost Whisperer (reminds me a little of The Sixth Sense)

E-Ring (you can't go wrong with Jerry Bruckheimer and let's face it we know this show will do well b/c all of his shows are in the top 20, with 2-4 being in the top 10. Plus, Ben Bratt baby!!!!)

Commander in Chief (I just like the idea of a female President ;))

Close to Home (Two words...Christian Kane. 'nough said)

How I Met Your Mother (looks really cute, plus Alyson Hannigan is in it, although I'm going to have to be thinking "okay, she's not Willow, she's not Willow" through the entire show. LOL)

Everybody Hates Chris

I liked "How I Met Your Mother." Cute stuff. Barney is no Doogie Howser :)

I LOVED "Kitchen Confidential." It's getting a season pass on the DVR.

I'm looking forward to the Martha Apprentice as well as Everyone Hates Chris and all the other shows I watch.

I really liked it, too. A nice follow-up to "Arrested Development."

"Kitchen Confidential" and "Supernatural" look like the two most likely must-sees for me.

I liked Jason Lee in the Kevin Smith movies, so if I get a chance I'll try to catch the show. Other than that I don't get the chance to watch a whole lot of TV.

you know I know it's not new to me...but yesterday was the first time that I watch Arrested Development.....that show is funny has hell

it may have to make my regular watching, kinda upset that I missed Kitchen Confidential, instead I watched How I Met your Mother....the only bright spot to that show so far is Neil Patrick Harris......

not too sure of how my Monday's will go, I usually don't watch on Mondays.

I'm anxious to see how they replace Sasha Alexander (Kate) in NCIS tonight.

Ok NBC has been pushing My Name is Earl so much the last few months... it better be good! Gona go watch it now...


ETA: SOOO worth the watch! I found it really really funny but I think you just gota appreciate that kind of humor.

Agreed!! It has a "Raising Arizona" feel to it - if you like the Coen Brothers, you'll love My Name is Earl!!!!

So I loved My Name is Earl!!!! I thought it was awesome! Gotta love Jason Lee.....

I thought it was freaking hilarious. The first time that I saw the commercial for the show I didn't even realize that it was Jason Lee.

Replayed Kate's shooting from last season.

Lots of strange visions of Kate (with bullet hole in her forehead) talking to the other NCIS people. Terrorist (can't place his name right now) takes a couple shots at other members of the NCIS team -- misses them -- then kidnaps Ducky at the end. It's clear he's messing with Jethro's mind.

Beautiful Mosad agent (looks like she's a "double") tries to talk NCIS out of killing terrorist no name. New Director of NCIS is Jethrow's former lover -- just to add a little tension.

More sexual tension in this show than in the past.

Very haunting lighting and photography -- not much like the normal NCIS.

I also watched Out of Practice....also pretty funny!

I dunno.....My Name is Earl just didn't strike me as well as the commercials and such did. I turned it off during the last ten minutes. Maybe I missed something. I have it on DVR so I think I might have to watch it again!

Yea, I liked Out of Practice . . . I hope it had enough viewers to carry it through. I like Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing so it makes my day they're in this show.

Hmmm....let's see...I only watch reality tv (some are not brand new shows- but are starting/started a new season)...

I also watch shows on MTV like Real World: Austin and My Super Sweet Sixteen (I laugh hysterically at this show)!! I am excited to see the new Gauntlet coming out soon-- Alton (Real World) is one of my program participant's older brother!

CSI (who would have thought Warrick would return married?)

Without a Trace (the previews were on last night for next week's premiere)

Criminal Minds (wasn't planning on watching this one but it was on in place of Without a Trace)

Bones (ok, have to agree about David but the show is not very good)
