Did anyone else watch the season premier last night? What did you think??? :)

I was a little irritated by it, but I can't put my finger on why.

Does anyone remember if at the end of last season Lindsay (was that her name?) was informed that Caleb died? Does anyone think that perhaps Caleb cut Julie out of his will at the last minute and gave it all to Lindsay?

I think Julie is quite the bitch I must say. I thought that maybe getting back together with her ex would make her be a little bit nicer. But, no.... she was still more than happy to let Ryan get thrown in jail just so that Marisa could go to college. Not cool in my book.

I WAS however impressed with Marisa going to talk to Trey and get the truth out. I so want her and Ryan to stay together!!!

Previews showed that maybe Kirsten doesn't want to come home to her family. I think she is just scared of falling "off the wagon". Plus, I really don't think that her coming home during the middle of all this shooting drama would be the best idea for her sobriety.

I think that would be VERY interesting. :)

I think he'd give it to Kirsten and Hailey before he gave it to Lindsay.

Does Kirsten even know about the shooting?

Maybe not... Didn't they say she couldn't have contact with her family while she was in the rehab clinic?

Lindsay hasn't been informed as far as we know, I believe. It wasn't in last season.

I was beginning to like Julie towards the end of last season when Marissa was being a complete bitch towards her. She was actually being semi-nice to Ryan. I can't believe what she did, though. I hope Jimmy leaves her because he deserves better.

I don't think we know if Kirsten knows about the shooting, but Jeri Ryan's character is freaking me out. I've read some spoilers about her character, and I don't think she's up to much good.

Did anyone else see the show "Reunion" afterwards? Looks like the girl who plays Hailey is trying yet again at another Fox drama after the failure of North Shore. Wonder how it will do, I thought it was ok...

Haha, I thought the same thing. I watched it, and the show looked pretty interesting. That blonde guy must be a dumbass though.... Your best friend is going to try to get you to take the fall for an accident, and you AGREE?!? I'm sorry, I don't care if the guy is your best friend, he should have taken it back and told the truth. Dumb dumb dumb. :p

Is Kristen going to become a lesbian? Is that what they're hinting at?

Overall the first season was good and everything else was downhill...

If you read one of Simmons' columns this week, you'll find out that they had a lot of meddling fromt he network with the Marissa/Alex lesbian storyline so I doubt they'd go for a Kirsten lesbian storyline as well. Plus in the column it was also mentioned that Kirsten and Sandy were doing better than ever.

I don't think Kirsten knows ANYTHING about the shooting at all or Sandy woudl've mentioned Trey was awake when they called him when he was visiting the clinic. I also think something sketchy is happeneing about Cal's will. I HOPE Julie gets hers by getting cut out of it.

Yeah...what was up with that? There were about two episodes where Marissa went lesbian, then nothing more was said about it...was it for ratings or what?

Wow, I just read that article. Very entertaining, and very funny. I enjoy reading stuff that actually makes me laugh out loud. Though, when I just bust out laughing in the middle of work, people sometimes look at me funny. :p

I looked at it but I didn't read it. I can't stand reading uninterrupted text on a comp no matter how good the content.

So if she's not going to go the lesbian route, I think it's going to be Pyscho Killer time.

But really, does Newport really need another Julie Cooper? I think she's kinda bitchy enough for the entire show. :)

Yeah, I think she wants to become Kirsten. She kept comparing herself to her in the premiere.

Kirsten looks older..... Julie seems more well-preserved. Kirsten has the more wholesome look.... Julie has the slightly slutty look.

Kirsten just looks more nice.... Julie looks like if you don't do what she wants, she will kick your ass.

There's no real opinion in there.... just some ideas of the differences between the two. :) For the guys, I think whichever of those two you like better probably also says something about the kind of women you are attracted to in real life. :p

I SO loved watching Summer be a bitch to that other chick last night!

And way to go Ryan for punching that guy out for Marissa. Now they both get to go to public school together I guess. My question- Sandy mentioned that getting expelled will ruin their chances to go to college.... But neither Ryan nor Marissa seem all too worried about that.... Does anyone else find that strange?

And i definately don't like Jeri Ryan's character... She is just totally gonna get in the way of Kirsten's life.

Okay, last night's episode annoyed me. I had issues with some of the cinematography and editing. The storyline, while qiute predictable last season (and the one before), is now ridiculously predictable. And, it's gotten way cheesy. I know, it was cheesy before, but last night it grated on my nerves.

I dunno.

Anyways, I guess Marissa and Ryan are gonna' get it on next week. Finally.

Yeah, I saw the previews for that and was like, "I thought they were already doin it" :confused:

Apparently not, but since I already thought they were and didn't think anything of it, then I'm assuming that that story line won't really be entertaining.

I thought it was lame how Ryan punched the Dean -- who in their right mind would do that?

Yeeeeees. I think I've about had it with this show. I used to love it, but it seems like it's just getting more and more ridiculous all the time. I fell asleep during last night's episode!

This season is really pissing me off. This dean is totally unrealistic, and the drama of Jimmy getting beaten up and this Charlotte chick just isn't cool. This show has definitely gone downhill since season 1, but the suspense keeps drawing me in. Ugh!

WTF is up with this Dean??? I mean seriously, what is his deal? It just boggles my mind!

Thank god that Kirsten is back. Jeri Ryan's character is seriously evil and is just pissing me off.

Dean/Taylor set out to make Seth and Summer's lives hell.

Caleb was broke. Therefore Julie and Jimmy are broke. They had planned to get married and move to Hawaii. The girls will go with. Jimmy gets the isht beat out of him because he can't pay his loan sharks. He skips out of OC, and the wedding.

Ryan and Marissa get it on.

Kirsten comes back for the will reading, finds out her dad was broke, receives a letter from Caleb through the lawyer. This freaks her out and she spends the night in a cheap motel with an even cheaper bottle of vodka. But does not drink it. She decides to come home for good.

Charlotte is some sort of effed up con artist.

That's about all.

OK, so...I went against my resolve not to watch this show again and watched it last night. Last night was better than the past couple times, but yeah, whoever mentioned the Dean...that character and his actions just don't seem realistic. Now, I realize that this is "The O.C." and that everything is pretty unrealistic, but there still needs to be a touch of it so we can relate to it. I just don't see how Dean can get away with threatening innocent students with expulsion if they don't "show more school spirit." Otherwise, though, it was an all-right episode...I managed to stay awake! :)

Ok how come Seth hasn't said anything to Sandy about the Dean's actions? for some reason, I think a threat of a lawsuit from the parent could fix that pretty quickly, especially since I don't think a dean can force a student to participate in any activities.

I wondered the same thing. :confused:
