Am I wrong if......

I do not want to keep my husands 3 bad behind neices?

I do not answer my phone at 8:00AM because I know it is my husbands sister and she wants us to take her to work? (We do not hear from her unless she wants something) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/mad.gif

I do not answer the door because, you've guessed it,It is his sister again wanting to borrow tissue, alumnium foil, cheese, butter, or milk? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif

For going to get my car back from my husbands dad because he has had it for six months and has not made a payment on it?(We made the payments)

For just learning how to use the smilies http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have got to stop living like a prisoner and just say no!!!!!

Sorry the post was so long. I had to vent.

well let me vent also:
am i wrong:

for not returning calls to whiny grown women who comaplain about every little thing in their life?

for not wanting to hang with my friend because she always have to bring along her annoying kid?

for just wanting to stay in my bed clothes until it is time for me to go to bed again?

Chi_ZETABBW 07-17-2001 06:53 AM

AM I WRONG:

For wanting to get busy with this man at work, regardless of the fact I got a man at home?

For only giving my man some on payday?

Venting is good for you because, Silent1, you are too dam nice! A car that you have been paying for and you don't drive? Puleeze!

Most people who know me will not call my house early in the morning or they will get cussed out, for real! I live by caller id and I do not answer the phone that early unless its my Momma or my man and then they better have a good enough reason to be calling. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

LOL. No, you're not wrong. I'm in the print media and get tired of TV "reporters" going to Pookie, Ray Ray, Shay Shay and 'em whenever it's a black issue.

Am I wrong if...

I am tired of people who don't feel they have to be on time for anything in life, except work?

I avoid dealing with people who are negative or don't take care of business or both?

I think that, in addition to a good personality and spirit and all that good stuff a good man has good credit, a job with benefits and no children? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

I am tired of the people on the news running to Pookie 'nem every time something happens in the black community?

I think that nobody should use the n-word?

Let's see here... On one hand you have reading a book in the quiet and non-smoky environment of your home versus "Mr. So Fresh and So So Clean Clean" in the green lame' suit (who drove a shiny green pacer with gold/green dice on the rear view mirror) and the gold tooth (with the dollar sign and a better perm than you- hee hee)asking you for your number and having to think up a fake one quick to get rid of him an' his funky breaf.

Not to mention if someone wants to pretend he or she is PDiddy and J-Lo and start shooting in the parking lot.

Think I'll take the book.. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hello ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho:

Am I wrong for not wanting to make idle conversation with people in public places? Especially when I am waiting for my nails to dry after a manicure. How about not wanting to tell the woman that does my hair all my business? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif.

Am I wrong....

For wondering whatever happened to all of those vanity plates and t-shirts and personalized plates that sisters got with NICETY on them (I just cannot get that song out of my head for some reason today)?

For wondering what my kids are going to say about "House Party" when they get to be teenagers (uh, Mom, that guy has an afro with no sides)?

For being old enough to have watched the Arsenio Hall show taped live and having collected Bel Biv DeVoe's autographs (dang they were short-and skinny....) after the show?

-At least I was still in college when I did that.

If I just thank God that Miss Cleo is not calling or emailing me http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif?

Am I wrong for not giving brothers who don't have a bachelors degree the time of day?

Am I wrong for not going to the same club more than twice in the course of a month?

Am I wrong for letting the salon on the corner do my hair, because they are fast (I REFUSE TO SIT FOR 4 hours for basic haircare service) even though I have to bring my own products because I don't like the products they use?

You ain't wrong for asking the brotha to stay on subject.

What I want to know is am I wrong for telling one of my co-workers to grow up and stop messing around with these dead beat old men while at the same time trying to get other people to watch her three bad kids while she goes out to clubs to find these dead beat men?

Yes, you are just as wrong at Chi_ZetaBBW.

Am I wrong for wishing that Black Planet didn't notify others when you are online? I feel like I have to sneak onto Black Planet, in order to keep some of these folks from bugging me to death.

Finer Woman10-A-91 08-22-2001 01:18 AM

Hey wait a minute! I have my standards. I have mine...you should have yours. If I am wrong for that...oh, well. Now, don't get me wrong, in the past, I dated a guy who did not have his BA/BS...He could not relate. The other exception includes the brother who is an entreprenuer...or striving entrepreneur or artist.

I got a couple more.

Am I wrong for not giving brothers the time of day if they have a child? NO EXCEPTIONS HERE. Again, I have no children. He should have NO children.

Am I wrong for hating to hear brothers refer to their children as their "seeds".

Hissssssss! That really annoys me.
