Recruitment Fall 2005
Hey ladies! Keep us all updated on recruitment around the country. Post school/chapter and dates and keep us updated on the results!
Great idea! I love hearing how we do across the country. Do we have any chapters that have already started rushing? All the ones up in the NE have at least another month I think, and most of them are informal.
I do believe that Mizzou (Omicron) is in the process of recruitment at the moment. ODU (Epsilon Eta) is the 3rd weekend of September.
Beta Theta's (UBC) recruitment is September 7-17.
Eta Theta is going through Formal Recruitment September 12-16!

Gamma Rho's (Penn State) formal recruitment is Sept. 16-26.
Epsilon Gamma's (CSUS) formal recruitment is September 16th-20th.
Anyone hear how Nu (Nebraska-Lincoln) did? My cousin is starting classes there and I don't know if she went through Recruitment or not, but I still want to hear how our Husker sisters did!
We just had our Recruitment Retreat this past weekend and everything went SOOOOOOO awesome! The entire chapter is ready and pumped up and excited! I actually don't know if I can wait all the way til the middle of September for everything to begin!!! This will be our first year using release figures so I'm interested to see how it will all go!

Sadly enough, due to recent events which I'm sure some of you have heard about, there will not be fall rush for all national fraternities and sororities on my campus. :( I believe we will be holding informal rush in the spring.
are things not going well on your campus? I haven't heard any news. Maybe I'm out of the loop....
Oh...yea last semester was a rough one. Do a search on GC for Chico State and you'll see many of the problems we encountered.
Isn't it the Pi Phi chapter that is now no longer on your campus? I think I remember this post....

Congratulations to all of chapters that have completed recruitment. Alpha Phis are simply amazing!
We're gearing up for rush at SFSU- It's next week! We have over 220 women signed up and just 3 NPC Sororities! Last year, we had our biggest recruitment ever with approximately 100 women going through and quota set at 27. (Campus total is only 45!) We're heading into rush 47 members strong, so wish us luck! Hopefully I'll have great news to report next Friday! :D |
Good luck ladyj!!! We're rooting for you in Santa Clara!!! :)

Quick update: We had 138 women attend Open House and 114 came to the second night! Keep in mind that SFSU only has 3 NPC sororities, so Panhellenic is projecting that quota could be 40+!!! :eek: We're the largest chapter at 49 members, so we could be close to 90 by Friday! This is insane considering that we have no houses, small meeting rooms, and we're on a pretty anti-greek campus (at least administraion wise). We have one more party tonight and pref tomorrow. Our girls are doing fabulous and the PNMs are amazing! I'll report back soon! Send positive thoughts to GC's own rayray and glitter650 too as they are going through this with me as representatives from the other two sororities at SFSU! :) |
Hang in there! This is a fantastic development for your system! We had a similar thing happen last year. Our enrollment was over 200 and quota ended up being 57! Here's to having a large, fabulous chapter!!!
Epsilon Upsilon, Northridge
Quota = 30 Matched = 32 |
Eta Upsilon, Chapman
Quota = 29+2 Matched = 34 |
After 16 hours of sleep over the past 4 nights, I’m happy to report that SFSU’s largest recruitment ever has come to very successful end!
Quota was set at 40, and after bid matching, we have 42 new members!!! What’s even more exciting is that all the girls we got picked us as their #1 choice! This is our biggest new member class since our founding sisters were initiated. Campus total is only 45!!! I'm taking a long lunch to attend Bid Day and I will hopefully come back with some cute pictures to share. We now have a total of 89 members!!!! Eta Theta has come such a long way and I am so proud of my sisters! :D |
Congratulations to the SFSU Phis and LadyJ!!! Wooo Hooooo! That is just terrific! Sounds like total on your campus may need a bit of adjusting! Enjoy!
WOO HOO! Congrats to Eta Theta! Send us some positive vibes for tomorrow, will ya?
