northern virginia..in the DC suburbs. about 5 minutes from Quantico.

I spent most of my summers in the Fairfax/McLean area when I was growing up, then worked out of DC when I first got out of school, took some training at Quantico, and STILL spend as much time as possible in the area!! Among other excuses, I'm a volunteer genealogist at the DAR.

Is it true that the Spiegel outlet closed? I haven't been down that way in a couple years.


Edited To Add: My little sister lives in Fairfax now, and I have a friend at GMU.

most of my friends are from mclean. i love the area and look forward to vacations when i can go back. and YES, unfortunately the outlet is closed. so many things are changing at potomac mills - there's now a HUGE fabric store there (which i think is completely unneccessary). but as long as they keep nordstrom rack, i'll be happy!

i have many friends at mason! how ironic is this?

a few girls that were seniors when i was a freshman in high school. i only know who they are through association though..i don't know them personally. i'll PM you with the names.

Last night I went into the city to join the NYC alumnae for a dance performance in the Park at Lincoln Center (oh - I felt *so* grown up, telling people "I'm going to Lincoln Center tonight"!). One of the girls was a new alumna of Indiana University who is going to grad school at Yeshiva University! If you want to PM me, I'll tell you her name. (dunno if it's wise to do so here; you may have guessed who already, anyway!)

Got them! Oh, well, it was worth a try!

Welcome!!! I'm a Delta at Miami (OH), but I'm from the Indianapolis area and a lot of my friends go to IU. One of these days when I'm down there, I really want to visit the ADPi house! We don't have houses at MU *sigh*.
