Alpha Xi Delta Recruitment Results

I am SOOOO excited about all the new Alpha Xi NM's our organization will get this fall (and for those on deferred recruitment...Spring). I'm, like, antsy to move the month along!!! I thought a thread could be dedicated to congratulate our chapter's on their new members.....any other AZD's game?????

I think Auburn's is the first Bid Day on the 12th (or 13th?). Can't wait to hear your results and shower you with congrats and praise!!!

Everyone, when you hear an AZD chapters results...please post it for your sisters!!

*Edited to add this list (yes I have too much time on my hands!)*

PLEASE NOTE: This list will NOT acknowledge if quota is reached or not.....the important point is that we have New Members and all shall be celebrated! If dates are unknown, then I couldn't find them on the chapter websites or college sites.

PLEASE PM ME OR ADD RESULTS TO FORUM AND I WILL UPDATE!!

erincredible85 08-18-2005 11:33 AM

We actually don't start Fall Recruitment until the 28th of August with bids being distributed on the 1st of September! I'm kinda nervous bc I am Recruitment VP for Panhellenic so I'm supervising it all! Plus we just moved down from formal recruitment to minimal...so

SoProud2BeAnAlphaXi 08-18-2005 03:38 PM

Kansas State

Quota at Kansas State was 41; Alpha Xi Delta got 42!

Yay, Alpha Kappa chapter!!!

flirt5721 08-18-2005 04:31 PM

Gamma Lambda's Bid day is tomorrow, so I will post the wonderful results as soon as I hear them! This has been one of the best recruitments we've seen!

axidgl 08-28-2005 09:32 PM

AXiD GL got roughly 25 WONDERFUL women today!! They are all great quality women, and I am so proud of us!

amanda6035 08-29-2005 07:43 AM

Good Job Gamma Lambda! Iota Theta's Formal recruitment starts today - Prefernce on Thursday, Bid Day on Friday. I'm soooo incredibly nervous, but I think we're gonna be okay.

Any advise for someone who gets her nerves spun up really easily? I know I can do this...but I'm having flashbacks of last year - our first night, I met this girl who I now refer to as "the alligator" because she was SO DIFFICULT to talk to - it would have been easier to pull teeth from a rabid 'gator than it was to talk to her. Somehow she managed to answer open ended questions with a yes/no answer and would not elaborate on ANYTHING. It wrecked my nerves, and it upset me the rest of the night that I dont think I was as confident around other girls as i should have been because she spun me up so bad. Dear God, Please don't give me another 'gator as my first PNM this year....

I cant wait to see our alumni tonight =)

quillogold 08-29-2005 02:51 PM

Theta Sigma got 44 AMAZING women. Quota was the lowest it's been in a long time! Most of our new member classes have been around 65-72 women so 44 is a big change for us. We're so excited to have all of these new members though!

AXiDTrish 08-29-2005 04:18 PM

65??? Ugh! That was my entire chapter when I was in school! Talk about having to be organized!!! WOW!

I have a close friend who is a colony member of Theta Sigma....she is always soooo proud of her chapter!!! I will give her the great news of 44 new sisters!

flirt5721 08-31-2005 10:48 AM

Theta Omega got 17 new sisters. Quota was 15.:D

TxGirl 09-01-2005 12:56 AM

Just want to say I'm proud of your chapter at West Georgia!:D

And I got to meet AXIDTrish standing in line at the Panhellenic Office...(sorry if I don't remember if you were at the bid list gathering, lol.)

Have a wonderful year and see you next Fall, lol.;)

Iota Mu Recruitment Results

At Lycoming College we have deferred recruitment, so freshman were not eligible to go through recruitment. We had 12 upperclassman go through and we did not select any. We were looking for some quality girls and we just didn't match up with anyone.

We are hoping to kick some butt in the spring. We currently have 22 juniors. They will be leaving in three semesters. This makes me nervous. We tried hard this semester and are hoping for the best next semester.

We still have COBs to hand out well hopefully.

TFJ,

Bonnie

tcsparky 10-09-2005 03:05 PM

Iota Zeta

Iota Zeta pledged 3 fabulous new women through Informal Recruitment last month.

We had 8 women come out, but like other chapters, we were looking for certain qualities in the women. We are planning for a stellar recruitment in January!!!!
