What Compliments Do You Get?
 

Just wondering. I usually get the following often:

1. That I smell good.
2. That I have nice eyes.

So what compliments do you always get?

my eyes and my shoes

Pretty eyes
Pretty smile/ teeth
Pretty skin (tone - i.e. no blemishes or need for concealer)

I usually get "Nice quads" from people at the gym/cycling.

Right now, it's "Wow! You're five months pregnant? You don't even look pregnant!" Actually, I look more like I've been on a diet of Twinkies and Doritos for the past few months, but most of the people I know are too nice to say so.

(actually, my hair has a mind of its own. its curly and very thick. it gets on my nerves most of the time)

(i'm 6ft tall. and i dont like it most of the time. however sometimes it's ok)

(yeah, i think so too)

(usually this is said by guys. however i have had girls tell me this too)

"You take really good pictures." - for some reason people tell me this all the time. even when i think the picture is horrible.

nice eyes and smile... and I've lost count how many times I've been told that I look like Britney Spears and Katie Holmes (Britney more than Katie). I don't see it at all, but I take it as a compliment.

My clothes (people always say I look great and not like everyone else, which I take as a compliment)
That I smell good (I'm a perfume addict)

I get complimented on my smile

my sense of humor (I can get outrageous)

my hair...I have braids--a 9 hour job to get done. But to not have to mess with my hair every day is worth it

at work I have gotten compliments on my wedding ring (Mr. 1228 did a decent job)

I get compliments on my makeup when I wear it.
I get compliments on just being pretty in general.
I get compliments on my smile.

You forgot about your huge...never mind, that's probably something that should be saved for the dating and relationships forum. ;)

my hair gets the most compliments. (very thick and curly).

I get a general "sexy" more often than anything. I also get, "tough" occasionally. (Tough meaning Brickhouse type of thing).

I'm certainly not what society would consider ideal, but I know I'm hot stuff and guys usually like that.

Girls often tell me my nose is "cute."

I seem to get compliments more and more now, especially since I'm in a relationship (why is it like that?) Anywho, guys usually tell me:
you have pretty/sexy/bedroom eyes (my eyes are slanted, and getting lighter)
a beautiful smile
pretty legs (I rarely wear skirts because I me no like the gawking)
a great figure (damn gawkers!)

Ladies say that I:
have great purses (I am a handbag addict!)

have thick hair (its not that great, especially when wet!)

It's great that we all receive compliments, it lets us know that we have it both on the inside and the outside!

They say I should be a model. But my name is already taken by another supermodel. Also, i am not that photogenic.

I get compliments on my choice of hair color.

I get compliments on my ethnicity. I have to agree that our women are exceptional looking.

I get compliments on my purses and clothing a lot. Right after I changed my hair I got a ton of compliments.

I also hear that I have beautiful eyes a lot.

-before I wore contacts, people commented on the (natural)colour of my eyes (hazel) and asked if I wore contacts
-now that I wear contacts people comment on my gorgeous green eyes and assume they are natural
-I am often commended on my grammatical skills
-people always tell me how much they love my stories and my style of writing

In response to the thread, I ususally hear Nice legs (curvy / toned); Friendly smile (and nice teeth / lips); Shiny, healthy, long hair; Expressive eyes (they're big - hard for me to poker-face)

"Your hair is SOOOO shiny" from most of the women at work.

From men, it's usually "Your hair is so soft", and compliments on my smile and my eyes.

"You have a contagious laugh"

And, at work, after fixing someone's computer "She can fix anything" (which isn't true, but they usually only have trouble with easy stuff).

People say the following:

You don't take any crap from anyone.

People always say:

*They love my hair color and are shocked when they find out it's natural
*I'm a great listener--I make them feel important when they're talking to me
*I'm one of the nicest people they've ever met
*Sweet, generous, caring, and funny come up a lot
*I have great curves (I call them speed bumps, but I'll take it :) )
*Women always tell me how much they envy my chest, not too big nor too small (I do love the twins, I'm quite fond of them)
