Women Stalkers

Are most women stalkers after the first date?

http://msn.match.com/msn/article.asp...44658&GT1=6630

Dude...I think most of that is crazyness but I definitely google people before I go out with them if I know their last name. I once caught a guy in a HUGE lie by doing that...and to be honest, I'm not upset I did it. It showed me he was already lying to me so he got the BOOT.
As for "stalker lite"...dude, driving past someone's house or "accidentally" on purpose bumping into them isn't stalker lite...that's straight up stalking.

I just saw this part...I'll get to it, I spaced on it...Psy-cho boy

FAB*SpiceySpice 06-28-2005 06:25 PM

No one that I've ever googled has actually come up with anything good!!! I googled this random boy that I've had a crush on since February and all I found about him was some prize he won for some engineering contest thing, awesome.

I googled myself and all that came up was a list of people who participated in Dance Marathon at my school last year....hahaha too bad I didn't actually go, but whatever.

I honestly don't google anyone that I'm interested in dating, and I am definitely not into the stalker activities b/c I have been seriously stalked before and it's f-ing scary, I would never EVER do that to someone!!!!

I love that cashmoney started a thread about women being stalkers.

Girl, you have got to quit posting things I was about to say myself!! :D

APhi Sailorgirl 06-28-2005 09:31 PM

Another sister and I were just having this conversation a few weeks ago.

Let's face it, with the internet, stalking isn't that hard. No it's not driving past your house or accidentally showing up where you are, but btwn google, IM, facebook, etc. It's pretty hard to not find info on people.

But don't google me, apparently my first name is a type of shoe and my last name, being a color, is one that the shoe comes in. But hey, that might be a good thing in the future.;)

No, my hands arent full with her, I scared her off after hiring the PI to find out all her info. And did it for exactly that reason....to scare her away. Cashmoney got gangsta and that was it.

Whatever.....all of you do it. When you look at the numbers there are waaaay more crazy women out there that stalk guys than there are guys who stalk girls. I know personally because Ive been stalked by a female.

AGDee 06-28-2005 10:27 PM

I never thought of googling people until I read about people doing it here! However, I check the sex offenders list for my state before a date with someone new.

Yes, but googling someone is not stalking. It's not even close. Neither is looking someone up on the facebook.

Oh, please! Until you've changed jobs, cars, houses, hair, clothing, lifestyle patterns, and given away a cat, you haven't begun to be stalked!

See, thats when you pull a empty gun on someone and stick in their mouth and tell them you're about to blow their fu*king brains out and pull the trigger as their eyes get real big. Imagine the message you'll send when they hear the steel hammer clock down and nothing happens. They'll shit their pants.

Which is why I now have a license to carry a concealed weapon - although I would never use an unloaded gun.

One. I'm not entirely comfortable with it, so I keep it at my bedside. It's not what I carry. BTW, my average scores are 96/100 static, 94/100 moving target.

HotDamnImAPhiMu 06-29-2005 04:47 PM

Honey, that's hot. What do you usually carry? My brother's not a particular fan of the Glock, either.

Hey, guys, just so you know, putting somebody's name into Google is exactly the same as getting their phone records, bank records, medical records, and installing voice activiated recording equipment in their apts.

I SO disagree...I google myself sometimes (when I'm really bored to see what this chick from Missouri with my name has been up to). I'm perfectly willing to admit that it's slightly stalkerish to google people, but the internet is public...no reasonable expectation of privacy on your web page....it's just different. ;)

I was being vicitious -- Cashmoney has admitted to he/his friends using all the technicques listed, which are (a) sketchy as hell and (b) illegal.

Just thought I'd point out the disparity between that and googling.

And, Cash -- "old shit" = posts you made like 2 days ago.

Hey HotDamnImAPhiMu--I don't understand your post.

Vicitious?
That is not a word.
Are you trying to use the word FACECIOUS?

LOL - Sorry to disappoint, but I'm a redhead - and I know to wear earplugs when practicing! :D

James 06-29-2005 10:36 PM

I agree. googling people etc. is not stalkerish, but it is distasteful. Tacky. Maybe even a little rude?

If you are going to spy on someone you should never admit it. Its like listening to a conversation you were not meant to hear, you look really creepy if you bring up information from it.

How would you guys react if someone brought up the fact they googled you on one of your early dates? Or even a later one? Its a little scary. It might even be worse than interviewing the person's friends first . . .

We use the word stalker awful lightly. Its not stalking to drive past someone's house. It is stalking to sit outside their house and wait for them to come out or get home.

Thats sssuming that the attention is unwelcome. If you like someone a lot, many activities that "seem" stalkerish are just cute and doting. And probably nauseating to your friends.

Holy crap dude, I don't agree with that at all. I EXPECT people to google me if they know my full name. I don't give a rat's ass if anyone googles me, although I'd find it kind of odd if he told me he did it, but whatever. I mean, why the hell not google someone? I google myself sometimes to see what's out there, and the one time I found something I didn't really want out there, I tried to have it removed, which didn't work at the time but it's gone now so all is right in the world.

I also want to mention the facebook issue again. FOR REALS PEOPLE, if you think facebooking someone is stalking or if you don't want people getting your information DON'T PUT IT ON THE INTERNET WHERE ANY MONKEY WITH ONE FINGER UP HIS ASS COULD FIND IT WITHOUT EVEN TRYING.

OK I'm sorry but this is my favorite typo ever.

And Googling a date is not stalking - it's like a faster form of asking all your sorority sisters what they know about Joe Fratty.
