Your organization - which school?
.

Another school
I would choose Ole Miss AOII. The house is awesome. The women are awesome, and they have the most FABULOUS and BEAUTIFUL Advisor!!!!
I >3 OleMissGlitter! Silver |
I would join our chapter at the University of Florida. They win a bunch of awards and they're a top chapter at UF. Plus, UF is such a fun school and I always enjoyed it when I visited!

This is a tough one on many different levels. The first, obvious one, would be Alpha in the early 1900s (if we are doing the time travel thing!). Next would be probably Vanderbilt or Middle Tennessee because then I could see Silver and Silver Mom with more frequency. After those, probably an SEC school because it would just be something to be experienced - coming from the Midwest!

I would say USC, UCLA, Texas, Northwestern or Missouri

My collegiate was soooooo small, being part of a BIG (read HUGE) chapter with a beautiful house would be a neat experience... |
I would love to have been a member of our chapter at Florida International University. Those girls seem to have so much spirit! I would have also liked to have gone to undergrad in NYC and experienced life as a sister who is part of our Alpha chapter at NYU. The ladies at the Texas A&M Kingsville seem super cool too, as do the ladies at the University of Georgia. The Vancouver chapter of DPhiE doesn't exist anymore but I met some of these lovely ladies at our Volunteer Conference and they are super sweet and have so much spirit!!!! I would have liked to have been a member of one of our Southern chapters to experience a drastically different Greek life experience vs. my Northern NYS experience ;). I would like to see what it is like to be part of a really big chapter.

No contest. Delta Sigma Chapter at the University of Hawai'i! I want to be a Surfing Squirrel! :)
|
ummmmm yep ditto on that!
|
Xi at U of Toronto, or Eta Theta at SFSU.
|
Gamma Theta Chapter at the University of Miami... briefly hung out with them after I dropped out of OU and before I enlisted in the Air Farce. Great bunch of guys!
|
I would join Sac State, because they are alot like the TKE which i am currently at.

I agree with Delta Sigma chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, although I think it would also be awesome to be in the wedding cake house, I think that's Gamma Alpha at UGa?
Dee |
Sorry Big Schools and Big Chapters Suck!:(
I always enjoyed knowing My Brothers and People on Campus. I was not a damn #! I was a Student, People Knew My Name including My Professors! Oh, PSU, Ks. People Know People! |

It's the nickname for the house and it was featured in our Quarterly magazine. Here is a link to a pic of it:
The Wedding Cake House |
Yes, if you look at pictures of the Gamma Alpha house, it looks a lot like a tiered wedding cake! Hence, the wedding-cake house. :)
Dee--Gamma Alpha at UGA would be another of my pics too. Them, Auburn, or 'Bama. But Delta Sigma still wins for me! |
|
Beta Tau at the University of Nebraska -- Multiple award winning chapter.
|
I'd have to go to Tufts MIT or Harvard DU has chapters at all three schools, Boston is such a great college town.

For me it would have to be FIU as that is one of our most active and involved chapters plus the members seem to be incredibly sweet. I would also wonder what it would be like to be a member of our Alpha chapter at NYU. I fell in love with their website, and they seem to have a strong prescence on campus.
|
The Cornell chapter... or the University of the South

Although I also wouldn't mind living in The Wedding Cake house that Dee mentioned. Not having had houses at my school, I would love to go to a school that had a big house just to see what it's like. |
<<I would join our chapter at the University of Florida. They win a bunch of awards and they're a top chapter at UF. Plus, UF is such a fun school and I always enjoyed it when I visited!>>
Whoo hoo.. ZTAngel, that's where I went to school! UF really was a fun school. When they gave me my diploma, I said, "Oh, no thank you, not yet!" |
Kappa Omega at the University of Kentucky. Gotta love an AOII chapter house on Rose Street (and within spitting distance from Memorial Coliseum)!
|
i would choose either of our chapters at the university of georgia or samford university(which is in birmingham, al). they seem to swap back and forth the top collegiate award handed out at our convention.
|
I would say Omicron at University of Tennessee or Lambda Sigma at University of Georgia.
If we were going to time travel I would agree Alpha (Barnard) chapter in the early 1900s or Pi (Sophie Newcomb @ Tulane)chapter in the same era. |

I'm not sure which chapter I would pick. I think perhaps a smaller chapter would be fun to see how different but the same it is to be an AOII. I don't know any smaller chapter names off the top of my head. However, I would choose something totally different like Sigma Chapter at Berkley or Tau Chapter at Minnesota. Of course I would totally love to be with the ladies of Omicron (UTK), Alpha Delta (BAMA), Lambda Sigma (UGA), Gamma Omicron(UF), Nu Omicron (Vandy) & Delta Delta (Auburn)! I love my SEC Chapters :) |

I take it as a huge compliment! I think I'd want to see what Mizzou or one of the SoCal chapters is like... |
Miami University (Ohio), University of Illinois, Kent State University, Penn State, Central Missouri State

Probably Cornell. Its a 136 year old chapter, so it has tons of tradition. Most of the members are varsity athletes (football/swimming,) but they're also laid back. It would also be nice to experience a chapter flush with alumni $$$.
|
I come from a chapter that is only three years old, the only national sorority on campus, and from a small liberal arts college. I would love to experience what "official" recruitment is like with skits, houses, ranking, COB/COR..everything that is normal to everyone on here. The following chapters stand out in my mind..
Alpha Nu- Southern Illinois University - Carbondale Alpha Chi - Murray State University Alpha Upsilon- James Madison University (VA) Gamma Mu- Southeastern Louisiana University Delta Beta- Elon University (NC) Delta Chi- University of Virginia Delta Psi- St. Joseph’s University (PA) I've been lucky enough to meet sisters from all of these chapters and eventhough they are large (or what I would consider large) they have a very nice family feel to them. I hope that my undergrad chapter will be as successful and loved as these chapters are one day. :D |
It's funny but I am going to have to agree with my sisters and go with our chapter at FIU!!! I was thinking that even before I read their responses! I almost went to FIU, which is random because I'm from Pennsylvania, but I went to Florida to tour the school...I wonder if I would have ended up a DPhiE there too!
I also think our chapter at Montclair seems really fun, I met a lot of the girls thanks to Myspace and they all seem so friendly, I bet everyone loves them on their campus :D |
If I would have had to join another chapter of ASA...it would have been Gamma Xi at Slippery Rock because they were EXACTLY LIKE US AND WE WERE THE SHIZNIT. :D
|
Either Michigan Beta (University of Michigan) or Michigan Gamma (Michigan State University)

I'd have to go with Delta Beta @ Elon Univ. or Delta Delta @ UNC- Chapel Hill. They are both very outstanding chapters.
