How big is your chapter?

OK I dont know if anyone has already done a topic like this or not. I'm curious to see how big everybody's chapter is (apart from the entire organization). I'll start off

We were established in 1990.

Currently have 14 Actives
Over 160 alumni

Of course much of this is relavent to the size of the campus, prominence of greek life, and length of existence. I go to a private University with about 3,000-4,000 students and 10 fraternities and sororties (5 of each)

The Eta Nu Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was established at Saint Louis University in 1988. Right now we have around 140 active members. I am not sure how many alumnae we have though.

JupiterTC 06-25-2005 10:11 PM

The Epsilon Delta chapter of Delta Delta Delta was established November 20, 2004, and currently has about 113 collegiate members and 14 alumnae.

The chapter I advise.....we will have 6 women returning in the fall! Sound small? The other chapter has 7!!

winnieb 06-26-2005 12:01 AM

The chapter I advise for has about 140 collegiate member.

a.e.B.O.T. 06-26-2005 12:37 AM

23 members with 1613 alumni

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc was founded at the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC on January 16, 1920.

Our grad chapter has approx 26 alumni. We also have 7 undergrad students that we sponsor.

Sister Havana 06-26-2005 12:57 AM

I think there are 85-100 active members in my chapter and quite a few alumni.

RACooper 06-26-2005 01:18 AM

The Epsilon Epsilon 'chapter' of Lambda Chi Alpha was established in December of 1927 - and has initiated just over 800 members.

Chapter size

My chapter varied in size when I was active from 1984-1988. Size went up and down from 40-75 members.
Approximately 950 total alums in my chapter as well.

dukedg 06-26-2005 11:27 AM

The chapter I advise has 69 women right now and with our fall quota usually around 25 we should be in the low to mid 90's by the beginning of September.

They are a really old chapter with about 2,200 alumnae (approx. 1,500 living)!

STL Kappa 06-26-2005 02:26 PM

My chapter had 210 members this past year. (Give or take a couple for transfers in or transfers out!) Our chapter was founded in 1875, so I wish I knew how many alumnae we had, but I don't! :(

Coramoor 06-26-2005 10:02 PM

~70 guys, this past year, but we had a lot graduate so it's down somewhat. We will probably keep around the same number this year depending on the size of the pledge class.

We are just under 2,000 initiated.

LightBulb 06-27-2005 10:46 PM

We are very new. We just had 17 actives, but we will have 13 in the fall due to graduation and such.

flirt5721 06-27-2005 11:50 PM

My chapter has about 30 actives one new member and around 50 alum. Quota was 19 or 20 last fall.

bluefish81 06-27-2005 11:51 PM

I believe my chapter ended the school year with just over 70 and will be coming back with between 55-60 in the fall. There probably about 1400 alumnae from my chapter alone - but that's just a ballpark.

Haha... well, not EVERYONE is at chapter meetings. (Classes interfere sometimes, so there is another meeting held for people who have a conflict.) Other than that... it's grab a chair if you're older and if you're a freshmen, squish in on the floor and try to maintain the most ladylike position while you're doing it! :p

blueGBI 06-28-2005 07:45 PM

My chapter has about 77 members returning in the fall. Since I've pledged, we've averaged 120 actives and about 30 pledges (there was a 123 members last fall... which is 5x the average chapter size in our region! )

Alpha Beta was founded in 1932 and I remember seeing old articles from the 1950s saying that we had around 100 actives as well. Our alumni number in the thousands, at least between 5,000-10,000.

Corsulian 06-29-2005 02:59 AM

About 65 actives and about 115 alumni

founded 1995

chopperLI905 06-29-2005 09:57 AM

Lambda Iota Zeta charter on April 13, 1965 has about 55 active members. LI-Z has a chapter roll 931 members.

bruinaphi 06-29-2005 10:41 AM

Founded: 1924
Actives: ~115
Alumnae: ~2200

DeltaEtaKP 06-29-2005 10:56 AM

We have been on my campus since 1969 but I do not know how many initiates we have.
At the end of the school year--We had 92 members 25 graduated and we don't have recruitment until Spring, so we're at 67.

PiPhiGirl2005 06-30-2005 10:25 AM

Our chapter was founded in 1887 and this year we had 75 members after formal recruitment (campus total is 80). I think that our numbers have been between 65-75 for the last four years.

We tend to have less in the fall because of deferred formal recruitment. If we graduate a class of 20+ seniors, we don't really get to make that up until January.

Drunkie679 06-30-2005 01:06 PM

Our chapter going though reform and we got left with 25 members with 15 guys going alumni this past semester. We have over 600 alumni from our chapter since 1954 and we been rechaptered three times
