Bridezilla

Just wondering has any one seen this show?

Intense1920 06-25-2005 01:22 PM

I remember seeing some of it when it came on last year.

TheEpitome1920 06-27-2005 09:59 AM

I've seen it. Those chics are CRAZY!

NinjaPoodle 06-27-2005 12:13 PM

I saw it last night. Fun-ney!

Yes, they are.

I agree that brides are on the crazy side, but I'm wondering how much of the drama is actually real. It's seems as though they "act" that way for the cameras.

I don't know but I have some sorority sisters in the bridal business. In assisting on occassion, I have witnessed several Bridezillas. Mostly they are people with no self control or tact.

Hey! I was crazy BEFORE I became a bride-to-be!!! :D

TheEpitome1920 07-01-2005 03:57 PM

Did anyone catch the episode where the bride called the police on the rental car dudes?? Then the mom had the nerve to LIE and say they were cursing at her??

Yeah I saw that........... That bride/mom duo was a trip !!!
Their behavior was totally un-called for.

PoodlePrints 07-08-2005 05:41 PM

I've seen bits and pieces of Bridezilla ... never watched a whole segment before.

Now I'm crazy about "Who's wedding Is It Anyway"? I just recently started watching it a few weeks ago.

Babyblue3_22 07-11-2005 03:47 PM

I love that show! Some of those women are looney.

This has become my new addiction as well!!

Did ya'll see the chic who was getting married in Florida? I think her name was Isabel! She was being too difficult, although I LOVED the location of their ceremony.

Intense1920 07-30-2005 11:32 AM

Ok, I'm watching it right now and these women are hilarious.

lostnfound117 08-02-2005 12:03 AM

I was too mad at Patricia. She was the girl who had the "Coming to America" wedding. I was too through with her...STR8 GHETTO!!!

HeartbrAKA 08-02-2005 01:36 AM

These women on Bridezilla make me wanna just go to the courthouse and call it a day...

RIGHT! There were quite a few things that were special about her wedding.

The finale

Did anyone get to see the wedding of Corliss? I did not get to see the very end. Did it turn out as nice as she had hoped?

I did see it. It was nice but there was a problem with the music, but the girl was happy in the end.

mocha frapp 08-08-2005 11:17 PM

I don't want a wedding

After watching this show I feel like I don't want a wedding. I mean these women spend $69,000 on a wedding and have all this DRAMA.. crazy family, venues, wedding planners, flower arrangements. I don't need or want the stress!

Disclaimer: I do want a pretty dress and nice pictures.

TheEpitome1920 08-09-2005 12:25 PM

I think its all in the planning. I think that because of the nature of the event it is going to be stressful. But with proper planning...all will be well...I hope, lol.

NinjaPoodle 08-09-2005 01:34 PM

If I ever get married, it will be far and away and only a few people like maybe 10 peeps.

TheEpitome1920 08-09-2005 01:44 PM

I hear those destination weddings are cheaper...

NinjaPoodle 08-09-2005 02:52 PM

if you play your cards right...MUCH cheaper.

DC_Zeta1920 08-09-2005 04:12 PM

I never seen the show but as of 8/1 I am engaged :)

I just hope I dont become a bridezilla....If I show signs I would like to be slapped back into reality. You dont see the groom going through all the motions like the brides do.

The grooms don't stress because they leave everything up to the woman! My boyfriend even said that when the time comes, I should just tell him the location and what time to show up!

Oh yeah...CONGRATS!!!:D :D :D

TheEpitome1920 08-10-2005 11:01 AM

Did anyone catch "Who's Wedding Is it Anyway"???

WHY did the groom's checks keep bouncing?!?! The wedding planner had to pay 20grand of her OWN money to cover the cake, food and alcohol AND the location of the ceremony!

And she didn't tell the bride because she didn't want to upset her. I would have told her because she's obviously marrying a unresponsible person.

Yeah, I saw that. I was thinking that he is such a loser! I guess the wedding planner didn't feel it was her responsibility to tell the bride about the groom. Imagine being the bride and telling all of your friends and family and COWORKERS to watch your episode of "Who's Wedding..." and this behind the scenes story comes out!

Thank you! :D

That is basically how they are and I can see that already. I had to light a fire under my fiancee for him to get his groomsmen list together. If it was left up to him we would be planning this thing 2 months beforehand. LOL

A girl I work with said that she told her fiancee to send out 'Save the Date' emails and notices to his side of the family and she would send out hers. Well, she found out that he didn't do it when his side of the family started fussing at her!

I suggest you build a mighty big fire and stack some extra wood over in the corner. You are probably going to need it!:D

They fussed at the wrong person.

Trust me...the wood, fuel, and matches are plentiful!

TheEpitome1920 08-24-2005 05:37 PM

How come I'm thinking about buying the DVD?

But I think I like "Whose Wedding Is it Anyway" better.

I think "Whose Wedding..." is better than Bridezillas. It' let's you see the inner workings of wedding planners are dealing with vs the crazy bride who probably just wants some camera time.

TheEpitome1920 10-10-2005 05:59 PM

Has anyone caught the new season??

Why did this one couple say they'd rather have a big wedding than buy a house?!?!
