First off I did a search and I couldn't find if this was discussed already At any rate.,...

Have you guys heard this song??? (Trapped in the Closet) OH MY GOD!!!! is all I have to say...I am in Chicago, and Chicago LOOOVVEESS then some R Kelly. At any rate, this is part of his 5 part Opera and BOY OH BOY Part two is lets just Say INTERESTING....They played it like 10 times today on WGCI over and over and over again and had folks call in the station to discuss how people felt about this song . Personally it sounds more like a SOAP Opera to me, and I can't not WAIT for Part THREE to see what happens...If you guys haven't heard it yet, I won't spoil it for you...Just LISTEN to it!!!!! It's a REAL shocker!!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

Yes, I heard the first part a few weeks ago, and I heard Part 2 this week....THis guy is so talented, I mean who think of doing a song like a soap opera...I mean if only he could use his powers for good.....

I really don't know what to think about R-Kelly right now. When I tell you I am and have always been one of his biggest fans I mean it! I just can't ignore the fact that he may or may not have molested one of our children. I just wish they would get on with this trial so I can make a decision about supporting him or not because right now I just don't know.:(

I haven't bought any CDs since everything came to light with him and the young girl, I am still waiting on some closure. But you must give the man his props, he is changing the game. Nobody is doing what he is doing in music. It brings a different breath to R&B.

So I finally heard 1 and 2. Hahahaha!! I was all trying to catch my breath because I had stopped breathing, with my nosey butt!! Now I need to hear all the other 15:D parts.

I was trying not to make one sound because I could barely hear it with my coworker asking me all these questions about the music. :rolleyes:

R Kelly is a marketing genius....aside from the "cliffhangers" in part 1 and 2, the melody is GARBAGE!! But he is going to make a TON of money, because I think this soap opera is going to be played out on this next CD....so you know he's not going to release all 5 parts until the CD drops.

He probably will put "extra" parts on the CD that can't be heard on the radio.

If you think about it....all of his other collaberations with Ron Isley, Chante Savage, and Kelly Price, could be considered an R&B opera.

Despite his "alleged" pedophilia, R. Kelly is arguably the "modern day" Marvin Gaye. I just wish he would quit making the garbage booty music and use his talents toward quality R&B.

Can someone hook a sista up with part three, my downloading service doesn't have it yet.

OK, I just heard one of the versions in the car this afternoon. I was so confused while drive 85 mph on I-85. It ended with someone coming upstairs...and it was a man?! Is that right?! The radio DJ started flipping out.

I'm so lost. No clue what's going on. If this was the second part, I need to find the first and listen to the second all over again.

So what did I hear?

The first part ended with R. Kelly being caught in the closet by his mistress' husband. Now, the husband (a minister) says he can't really be mad, b/c he's been cheating to, that's when he gets on the phone and calls his partner upstairs (that's why you heard, "and it was a man"). Good lord, only God knows what we'll hear in part 3...
