It's exam time, and I am starting to feel very sad about moving off the hall. I'll be in an apartment next year with my Little and another sister, and although it will be fun, it won't be the same. I will miss having so many people to hang out with and distract me. I'll especially miss everyone getting ready together to go out- so much fun.

We're finally gonna get our suite redecorated! Bout time!

What kind of stuff to write?

Should I do research on the others?!:D

Please forgive me for crashing, but I wasn't sure where else to post this.

I imagine that a lot of y'all who frequent ebay have noticed that 127yardsale sells a LOT of New Member pins from both Phi Mu and Alpha Delta Pi. I finally hit my limit yesterday, and contacted our EO. They are going after licensing/copyright infringement!!

I was thinking that maybe y'all would like to contact your HQ, too. This guy has made a cottage industry out of our New Member pins, and it's time to put a stop to it!!


Oh, and while I was on a plane once, I was using an Alpha Delta Pi pen, and the woman next to me kept staring at it. Finally, she twisted the pen to see what was written on it, and said, "Alpha Delta Pi - I thought so! I'm a Phi Mu!" We ended up discussing the whole Macon Magnolia concept the rest of the flight. :)

I made friends in the Airport leaving South-Eastern Panhellenic Conference last year with a granny ADPi. The girls from my university were like? But I love people who stay active for years.

The new engraved name tags from the Carnation Collection are the hotness and they are gonna look soooooooooo cute on Skit Night, since they go along with the theme...

My husband & I celebrated one year of wedded bliss three days ago!! I'd like to extend this newlywed thing by another year, now that I have the hang of it :)

Today I am off to freshman orientation with a smile on my face and letters on my chest to show off Phi Mu in the student organization fair. Every Tuesday and Friday in June... should be interesting...

Have any of you heard about the 2 year limit for chapter advisors. The president of the collegians told me about it and it just seems too hard to maintain.

I think the 2 year limit would be a great idea if every chapter had qualified alumnae waiting in the wings to advise the chapter. Many chapters don't have full advisory boards as it is... to me, if you've got someone ready and willing to volunteer their time, that's worth more than 2 years. Two years barely gives you time to acclimate to the chapter's setting and figure out what you're doing and set some long-term goals.

I have the Founders Ring and I LOVE it!

I absolutely love the ring, too bad I'm a way broke college student. I'm working my booty off to finish a book, so that I can take a little in the fall. And I can't wait to do my first formal rush from the inside.

Susan, that ring is amazing. I have the panel ring (looks like our badge, but mine's in silver, since all my jewelry is silver) and I love it *because* it looks like the badge. But. Sometimes it does seem a little.... plain? And more than one person has mistaken it for a "butterfly ring".

We have at least one Bethany girl on the boards -- Annie. Though I'm not sure how often she checks in anymore.

Ah, yes ... those Bethany Phi Mus ...

I, too, am so bored that I've turned to a chat room addiction...that's what summer will do to you though.

I saw my sisters today for the first time since I graduated in May. Long time I know. It was good to see them though. I also got to see the changes they've done to our suite. They started remodeling it at the beginning of the summer. It's looking great so far! It's gonna be a great change thats coming just in time for Fall rush. :)
