Does anyone else watch this show? I've got that one song stuck in my head. "Move your body, shake your body, gettin naughty naughty"

I've become addicted to this show. And I always get that song stuck in my head too. I actually managed to avoid it today, until now. Thanks a lot. :p ;)

I think Michelle made the right choice to leave and stay in school, because I have a feeling she would have been cut anyway. Her vocals were awful lately.

I was about to make a topic on this show, but I see that you just created it! lol.

I also think Michelle did the right thing, like she said, she'll always have a degree to fall back on just in case. I didn't like the fact that Aubrey said Michelle made the wrong decision, because nothing in life is a sure thing, but I guess sometimes people have different priorities in life.

I was sad to see Mini J.Lo (aka Patty) leaving. I was rooting for her, since day 1. Now who am I gonna root for? Lol...but I do have my favorites.

I have that song stuck in my head too...and the dance lol. I don't know about you all but when I see Leche's (pronounced like Lashay) name it reminds me of the Spanish word Leche meaning Milk. lol. My little 10 year old cousin and I crack up whenever we think of that.

I can't wait to Thursday, I wonder who he is gonna cut?!?!

aubrey is def my fave too. i think she said that about michelle because she did it too. but i think aubrey has a better chance and will probably make it to the end. michelle was a good dancer, but lacked in the singing department.

i can't believe levantae had the nerve to say she didn't treat anybody wrong or whatever.

i didn't like patty. she wasn't a good dancer, and she was on the heavy side. puffy probably picked her so that he could get rid of her because she looks like j.lo. lol.

Aw, I'm sad to see J. Lo's twin go too! Everytime she was in the confessional I'd have to look twice!

I'm surprised Lavontea even had an attitude knowing that pretty much all of the other girls had a lot more going for them...oh well, she's gone!

My personal favorite is Kristin, she looks and talks EXACTLY like one of the founding sisters of my chapter!

I love how Malika's voice sounds! Something very Macy Gray about it!

LMAO - I spent an entire day singing that one line over and over. Could NOT get it out of my head. Too funny! I'm addicted too.

I dont think there is anything wrong with being on the "heavy side" I mean I'm not rail thin either (shit i'm not thin! lol) It is refreshing to see that not everyone has to be really thin or have a 6 pack to make it...I miss Patty!! lol.

Oh Lord Jason got on my last nerve, I know that if I was in the house I would have started arguing with him. Especially after he told Andrea that she can't be eating bread because she doesn't have cuts or a 6 pack. NOT EVERYBODY looks good with cuts or 6 pack. Shit I wish I was 98 pounds!! lol.

And Lavontae was bitchin too!! I can still remember her saying "I write my own songs, I sign, I dance, there is Nothing I can't do" Yeah right...lol. How about, you can't get along with the girls?! lol

yeah, that's aubrey. i think she's the best one so far. she's a good dancer and singer and has the "look" which puffy is probably going for.

yeah. but i remember puffy saying stuff about someone being overweight and having to lose weight when they were picking people early in the season. so i know that must have been a factor in getting rid of patty and levantae (who was also larger than the other girls). but they both couldn't dance as well. so he could probably say that instead of them being overweight as the reason they got cut. lol.

Thats true...and that is just one reason why I HATE Puffy. But whatever..lol.

I like Aubrey, but I wish she would get rid of her "Christina Aguilera look," i personally think she'd look better without it. She is a really good dancer though.

I can't get "You can't do what I doooooooooo" out of my head. I was singing it one day and my linesister told me to shut up and why was I singing that corny song anyway.

one of those songs was atrociously monotonous, where Franchesca was singing in her thick accent...she seems more of a solo singer than a girl group singer...

Personally I think Puffy is less than talented himself...but then again hey I'm not on MTV daily...

Im rooting for Aubrey!!!!!!!! whoohooo. Im pretty sure shes gonna make it. Out of all she stands out the most and they keep showing her...maybe thats a sign!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Puffs facial expressions are so wack!!!!!! he has this stare that makes him look like he doesnt even know what hes doing. his droopy eyes and opened mouth. ga ga ga ga!!

Diddy wasn't playing last night! He was cutting left and right. But once again he talks too much. He asks Aubrey if she had any black in her family or hung around blacks because she was a good dancer. Maybe she just knows how to dance. The one girl I want gone won't leave. She's the one that Lavonte was getting mad about about the dance moves. She has a mole on her cheek but I don't know her name. Didn't anyone else notice one of the girls had on a Alphi Chi Omega shirt when they were practicing? I can't remember which because they showed it real quick.

i'm not sure who you're talking about. i know she got into arguments about dancing with malika about aundrea and aubrey. then she had another fight with leche.

Diddy really needs to get overhimself. I can't stand him, seriously why did he feel the need to ask if Aubrey had black in her family? Why, because white girls can't dance? I dont know why it pissed me off, but it did, especially when he pretty much said that if anyone is black or latina (and they can't dance) then they are a disgrace to their race. WTF? Seriously dude, get over yourself...you aint all that! He should stick to making Pro-Activ Commercials.

I can't believe he got rid of Kristen. She was a good dancer and a good singer!! I think it was Aubrey who wore an AXO t-shirt, because she was an AXO..right? lol

I never was a big fan of the previous making the band, but I can't seem to stop watching season! I am another fan of Aubrey--and I was sorry to see Kristin go. I wonder if he is going to take the girls' compatibility into the mix, if at all. Oh and it pissed me off too when Diddy made the comment to Aubrey about having black in her family--as a white girl with rhythm, I was offended!

Yes, Aubrey is an AXO.

yah as much as this show makes me want to cringe sometimes, i'm really only watching it for aubrey...

question: was eden's crush not one of the making the band seasons? i could have sworn they made a reality show out of it.

i don't know if eden's crush was ever on a reality show, but making the band 1 was o-town, making the band 2 was Da Band, and this is the third making the band.

Eden's Crush was indeed a reality show, but it wasn't Making the Band. It was a WB show called PopStars, which lasted only two seasons I think. Of course the band broke up, and I don't know what the hell they're doing now -- but Nicole (the gal from Hawaii/Kentucky) is engaged to Nick Hexum of 311.

MTB1 had a strong following when it was a boy band show on ABC. I think Puffy totally killed it. I really don't think MTB3's going to be successful AT ALL.

I think the final show is this Thursday night.

I'm also rooting for Aubrey.

One of the girls on LJ in the AXO group said she was Aubrey's roommate in the house last year. She let us know the outcome... but I won't post it for those die-hard fans :P

I'm kind of glad they didn't make a band. I didn't see one out of those 9 either. Hopefully they'll find who they need next season.

I don't know why they asked Puffy/Diddy to try to make a band again...It didn't work the first time around! I felt like he cut too many of the better vocals earlier in the competition just because they weren't hardcore dancers. Isn't it easier to teach someone to dance than to teach them to be a good singer? I liked a lot of the girls' personalities, but not necessarily their voices. I thought Aubrey and Aundrea were the best two.

i think puff daddy just wanted to stretch out for another season. they will probably end up doing a MTB3 season 3 to follow up on the new gropup's progress.

I didn't see last night's episode, but I can pretty much guess what happened. He didn't make a band...right? It was just like the last time he tried Making the Band....by the last episode he decided to disband it. WTF? He just wants ratings...that's it. Why? Because P. Diddy is not a good rapper (personal opinion). What was his last hit? The one where he is shooting a golf ball from his roof. Come on.

Like I said earlier...he really just needs to stick to making Pro Activ Commercials.

too bad though, but I think some of these girls will have a future ahead of them.

it was an hour long show.

-show started with 9 girls

-they went to an open mic cafe and sang with puffy and crew watching.

-aubrey, aundrea, and mylah sounded good.

-shauntee (atlanta) and yahaira sucked. shauntee reall sucked, and yahaira messed up and didn't catch the point to start singing. so she told them to start the track over. so you know that pissed off puffy. so they ended up getting cut. no one else got to sing after that.

-shauntee and yahaira got cut. down to 7 now: aubrey, aundrea, malika, mylah, aileen, francesca, and marti.

-laurie ann goes to the apartment and tells everyone to pack everything. they are leaving until puffy can fcigure out what he wants and who to pick.

-they come back 4 months later. puffy wants to see if they're done anything to make any improvements and too see how bad they wanted it.

-malika got rid of the wigs and got single braids.

-marti got rid of all the crazy colored highlights and makeup.

-spent the first day practicing with doc and laurie ann.

-2nd day, they went to the trl studio to try otu again.

-while they were practicing, puffy was watching from the back room. noticed the difference with malika, aubrey, and aundrea.

-he came out and they had to sing in front of puffy. he acted like he didn't care and was 2-waying and stuff.

-told aileen to stop. and said something about her weight.

-ended up picking aubrey, aundrea, and malika to MOVE ON to the next round of tryouts. he's going to a bunch of new cities to find new girls, cause he wasn't happy with the ones he had. so those 3 STILL have to tryout!!

-funniest part: after the picking, francesca said in her confessional "what a waste of time! how is he going to find someone that dances like britney spears and sings like beyonce? he might as well go to Hoopiter (Jupiter. she has a spanish accent. lol)"

I really don't care too much for Puffy, but I gotta admit, I think it's awesome how he's built such an empire with music and fashion.

I don't think he wants ratings at all. He'd be well off regardless of MTV anyway, but I think it's a pride thing. He even admitted himself that some of his more recent musical ventures were disappointing. Why make do with what you have, especially when it's mostly half ass? I wouldn't want to attach my name to anything half ass.

Aubrey, IMO, was the only one who "had it" consistently...and I hope she's one of the girls left standing in the end.

Get to it girls, didja see all the cities they're hitting up this month and next month?

I'm trying to find info on when it will come on again, but after looking at the website - he's still doing casting calls.

No one probably takes him seriously when he keeps cancelling da band/ cutting da band/ breaking up da band/ not making da band.... from season to season.

Who wants to waste their time?:confused:
