Very bad news

Just found out that a brother from my chapter, who was active with me, was killed.

Army Spc. Jacob M. Pfister will never meet his unborn daughter, but she'll surely know he was a hero.

Pfister, 27, a Buffalo-area native, died over the weekend along with a fellow soldier from Pennsylvania when a suicide car bomber hit their squadron near Baghdad. Four other soldiers were wounded.

Pfister, who served in the infantry, was on his second tour of duty in Iraq.

He was the 17th Western New York soldier to die in Iraq or Afghanistan since 2001 and was one of two Western New York servicemen to die this week.

We have two of My Chapter Brothers there and are very worried about them. Different units, but they did get a meeting and greeting and sent pixs back.

Oh no! :( Arya, this is indeed very bad news. :( It's never easy to hear about losing one of our servicemembers, let alone someone you know. My sincerest condolences to you and your brothers.
