nauadpi 04-12-2005 08:54 PM

Well I thought I would add Northern Arizona University's NPC recruitment will run August 24th-August 27th and August 28th is Bid Day

ADPiAkron 04-19-2005 08:47 PM

Shouldn't this be stickied to the top?!! :)

ARADPi 06-04-2005 03:17 AM

This year Alpha Omicron Pi is starting a chapter at the University of Arkansas, but will not be participating in Formal Recruitment beyod the Open Party. As a result, the Delta Delta chapter only has two weeks after Formal Recruitment for COR first semester (this way the AOPis can recruit).

This could hurt our numbers - we initiated 9 COR pledges last Fall.

smiley21 06-04-2005 03:32 PM

I am very excited about my chapter's recruitment. This will be my first and only time I will experience it on the other side. Kinda sad. I want to make the most of it. I hope it is our school's best recruitment ever! :)

I think Jacksonville University's dates are September 7th-10th.

Well, you can always see yet another side of it as an alumna! Be sure to update your profile on PrideOnline when you graduate, indicating willingness to assist collegiate chapter.

nauadpi 06-16-2005 01:21 AM

Well I have a change in date for the Northern Arizona University Recruitment... It will run from September 2nd through the 6th...

emleepc 06-16-2005 12:41 PM

I promise that I will do updates in about a week or so when I get home - I'm back in New York/Connecticut/New Jersey (all three states I've been to so far!) for a wedding this Saturday, and then I'll be home next Thursday for a day so I can get a couple of things done then :)

polarpi 08-13-2005 02:55 PM

Okay - I'm sorry that I'm slacking this semester - I promise next one will be better....I'm out of town again this weekend, and the hotel I'm at doesn't have wireless internet capabilities (and I don't want to go through the same stuff I just went through with AOL a few months ago  )

Anyways, I SWEAR that I will get this thread all updated and everything by Monday evening when I get back to normal life :D

VAgirl18 08-15-2005 12:55 PM

If what you are saying is that your chapter is struggling with numbers, it's STUPID for a Panhellenic to start a new chapter. Just my opinion.

Baylor has open recruitment events starting Augsut 24. They have a list of about 60 young women who have acceppted an invitation to COR, so that is INCREDIBLE! Wish them luck!

You're right... it IS stupid. But, that's what happened on my campus too with Gamma Phi Beta colonizing.

Zeta Omega at UCF made quota with 44 lovely alphas!

Lindz928 08-22-2005 01:02 PM

Looking great so far!!!!

Our Zeta Lambda ladies started recruitment today so good luck to them. I was at their alumni day Saturday.... cute skit and the girls all looked as cute as can be!!! :)

BBelleADPi 08-22-2005 06:32 PM

The nice lady at the Greek Life office at Georgia Southern said she would email me the results of all the sororities when she had them. It's been a week, so I sent a gentle reminder to her today.

honeychile 08-22-2005 11:33 PM

University of Alabama took 62 Alphas, but that's before snap bidding. There's also some question as to what was quota and why quite a few women didn't pick up their bids (I don't know if that's in general, or what.).

One of the new Alphas is Jessica Namath. You may have heard of her father, Joe Namath! The Western Pennsylvania area has turned out a LOT of fine quarterbacks - including Joe!! :D

Am I allowed a discreet and ladylike WOO HOO!!! ?

I hope you don't mind me peeking in. I wanted to congratulate your Georgia Tech chapter. I wrote a rec for a lovely young woman hoping she might one day wear the Zeta Crown. She prefed both of our chapters and chose ADPi. She will make a wonderful addition to the chapter and I'm just proud to call her a Panhellenic sister.

Quota at GA Tech was 32 and all but one chapter took quota plus. ADPi did take quota!

Lindz928 08-24-2005 09:26 PM

Zetamere thanks so much for those kind words! And congratulations to our newest Alpha at Georgia Tech! :)

That is just so sweet of you to take the time to let us know about Georgia Tech, and your rec!! I can see why you wear a crown!! :)

And the young lady I wrote a rec for that went Zeta is also quite an accomplishment for yall!! She has a brother at Ga. Tech as well. (She preffed ADPi and Zeta.)

ADPiZXalum 08-27-2005 07:10 AM

Zeta Chi (Baylor) took a new member class of 8 last night through COR. 8 is a huge number for them for Fall COR. They are waiting on some transfer hours to go through for 3 more before they extend them a bid. Hopefully this will do wonders for formal recruitment. : ) YEA BAYLOR!!!!

lonestaradpi 08-27-2005 12:17 PM

Here are some Texas numbers:

Gamma Chi (TCU): made quota; 47 alphas
Epsilon Epsilon (Texas Tech): at least 40 alphas
Epsilon Zeta (Texas State): quote plus; 40 alphas

Hopefully I'll hear more about other Texas chapters soon. I'm excited about these numbers!!!!
