Hey Ladies! I've seen this in other threads and thought that I'd post one for us in our forum! This can be used for anything you want....if you need a prayer, if you have some good news personally or about your chapter, if you just have stuff to get off your chest. I thought that it would be fun!

~Akron had Songfest tonight and DG walked away with A TON of awards!

We placed 2nd Overall for Singles, 1st Overall for Combo, and recieved Best Choreography, Best Vocals, Most Entertaining, and a few others that have slipped my mind.

We've had a great year so far! So I'm hoping that they continue kicking butt!

~I might be an advisor at a chapter soon! I've been told that there is a place for me if I am still willing to help out! So excited!!

I'm graduating in five weeks, and it's starting to sink in :(

hmmm... i have a million things going on my mind right now.

this weekend is DG formal my lil and I are gonna go together. that should be fun.

i;m graduating in june. i cant wait!

my dad is leaving to afghanistan on wed. for 1-2 years. it hasnt fully hit me yet but i feel so helpless. a good thing is that he;ll be back for my grad and he'll be able to come for xmas.

I got a promotion at work!

My birthday is Saturday!

My depression is that since all of my friends are spread out, I might only have one or two people at my party. Not that we still can't have fun, but it's still a bit depressing.

I am leaving a job I love and taking a job I am not so sure about, but it is in the family business. It will leave me more time to get my 82-year-old mom out and about. But I am feeling WAY more resentful than I imagined I would about quitting this job I've had for more than 18 years...even though it doesn't pay very much. It's like there are so many demands on me from other people that I'm forced to deny what I like doing in order to take care of them - husband needing bookkeeper, daughter getting married, mother needing attention. When am I going to get to tend to MY dreams? I am shedding a lot of tears and am afraid.

The last day of my internship was today! WAHOO!!!!

I graduate in two weeks :(

I'm getting a new car tomorrow!!!!

2005 Ford Focus SES ZX4 - fully loaded! I'll miss my old car, but it'll be a nice change!

It's hard to believe that I graduated a year ago!

Wish me luck everyone! I have an interview tomorrow with a school district. 200 people applied so I am feeling very fortunate to even get a chance to interview. There are 4 positions total available. I'm hoping for the best!

Hey Everyone!!! I just welcomed my new nephew into the world today!

Thought I'd share! His name is Dylan Richard and he was born at 10:19pm on 6/6/05. He weighs 8lbs 2oz and is 20.5in long. He looks exactly like his big brother Benjamin!

Hi, ladies! I know I haven't been around but things have been hectic! For starters, I'm preggers again! I MUST be crazy! I'll be having a Thanksgiving baby this time! We'll find out on Wednesday what 'it' is, and hopefully I'll have my own little legacy.

Bumping for some prayers.....

Please keep my little Laura in your thoughts tonight. Her father passed away earlier this week (i believe unexpectedly) and the funeral is tomorrow afternoon. She is getting married in September and unfortunately was not seeing eye to eye with him lately so i'm not sure how she is dealing with this.


On a good note though, little #3 called and told me she is engaged, making that 3 out of the 4 littles that are now getting married. They are leaving their big in the dust since I'm not even close to that yet...but I'm so happy for all of them.

GOOD NEWS!!!!

I got another long term position. I'll be a Kindergarten teacher for 3 months starting at the end of February and going till the end of the year! I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time. I think I have a pretty good class, just a couple behavior issues but nothing serious. YAY!

Andrea! That's fantastic! Crazy, but fantastic! It takes a special person to put up with little ones! I'll stick with my 5th graders! haha, you will have a fantastic time though, and hopefully learn a lot. Is this at the same school that you were at for your last position? Yay! I'm excited for you!

No actually it is at the school I went to when I was growing up. Same district.......but closer to my house than the last one.

CJ....My family will be heading back down towards Topsail in mid to late July....it would be awesome if we could meet up again or if you and Chris (if he's in town) would want to come back down again. Let me know what you think!

I'm in a good mood today so I'm going to brag a bit on myself :p

I'm now Foundation chair of our alum group-collecting labels, doing Hannah's handbag, and finding charity events for us to go to ( and hopefully later on, volunteer at). On the 18th, a bunch of us are going to the Prevent Blindness NC Night Vision benefit-which should be alot of fun. i'm hoping we can do some volunteer work with them as well.

Also, in June, about 5 of us from the alum group, our spouses, and one girl's family are heading over to Ireland for 10 days!!! And I've talked my husband into us flying over in Business class instead of Coach!!! Woo hoo!! I'm so excited, I wish it was next week. :D

P.S. congrats to all you teachers-we need you, and god knows, I could never do it!!

keep your fingers crossed for my grand-little. she had her cdc interview this weekend! she seemed confident that she did well so i'm hoping she'll get it!

We're staying in Reggello, with day trips to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and Assisi!!

Ohhh, I am green with envy right now!!! I have always wanted to go to Tuscany-you lucky girl!!

Mr. RN and I went to Italy for our honeymoon-we spent our time on the Amalfi coast, and one day, when I win the lottery, I'm going to plot my disappearance back there, never to be seen again....


Anyways, Congrats, and enjoy every moment of it!!

Just wanted to share that I am now the Member Ed/ New Member adviser for the Gamma Alpha chapter at the University of Tennessee :)

Eta Chapter just moved back into our gorgeous house for the new semester...just had to post it because I seriously MISSED my sisters!!!
