Guilty Pleasures
 

To try and get a little more discussion going on and get this board active..I thought I would throw out a "guilty pleasures" thread.
Obvi, we are all Sigmas..but who knows what else we have in common?!

I'll start!

-Harry Potter...I will admit I am 23 and love HP
-Lipgloss...I have what I believe to be the worlds largest collection..lol..
-Fashion Magazines...fantasizing about owning manolos, gucci, chloe can be fun

...I know there are more...but lets see what you all come up with ;)

YES! Nutri grain bars are a weakness of mine too!! The Apple Cinnamon is my favorite! I just got the new cosmo with Avril on the cover...the embarassing moments pages are so funny!!

My guilty pleasures are The O.C., Degrassi, American Idol, Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Harry Potter, and The Chronicles of Narnia. Oh yeah, and I still watch the Real World.

OMG, I totally forgot about Journey!!!!!!! :D

I constantly rock out to "Don't Stop Believing" and I had an interesting freshman year of college which theme song was "Anyway you want it" lol - whenever I hear that song it is 2000/2001 all over again!

Oh, another pleasure which I enjoy is strongbow cider. Its a beverage for the over 21 crowd and those never in letters

Me too! Mr. SSS and I both sing it to each other when it comes on the radio.

Degrassi is a Canadian show that focuses on teenagers. In the US, they show it on a network called The-N.

Mmmmm... Strongbow is good. I never had it until last month when I went to London. They have it in most of the pubs there, and it quickly became my drink of choice. So much better than any cider I've had here. But I didn't know you could get it in the US... where do you get it?

I had never heard of it either until sisters came back from being abroad in London and constantly talking about it! Its actually kind of hard to get. Luckilly, the bar near college has it on tap...so everytime I am up there I swing by for a pint or two;)

- singing along to the GAP ads each season (esp at the holidays)

I ADORE the chronicles of narnia... jadis was the original name of the White Witch afterall!

In the interest of avoiding all the work that is growing into a mountain on my desk, I've decided to waste time her on GC (which is a guilty pleasure all in itself). So, in addition to some of the others already listed (Harry Potter and the Narnia books of which I'm on my 3rd set since I've worn the other out), here are some of my quilty pleasures...

My #1 Favorite Guilty Pleasure: Staying in my pajamas as late as possible on a Saturday morning, enjoying my coffee and watching Discovery Kids shows on NBC (I have no cable or I'd spend my time watching TLC and the History Channel). My favorite show is Endurance, the kids version of Survivor! Keep in my that I am THIRTY YEARS OLD, so this is sad!

Buying ridiculous pointy toed shoes with fun high heels that kill my feet by the end of the day but look fabulous

Books are an extreme guilty pleasure of mine! In addition to Narnia and HP books, I'm totally addicted to re-reading Pride & Prejudice (and watching the A&E double-disc DVD set I have of it featuring Colin Firth), as well as science fiction books by Robert Heinlein.

I guess that's enough of an extra-special, disturbing glance into my life!

YES..P&P is an ultimate favorite of mine too! The A&E movie is AMAZING. God, there need to be more Mark Darcys in the world...;) Love Actually is another great movie that I adore.

And your saturday sounds like heaven. I do have the history channel and i seriously cannot live without it. Same goes for the Discovery Channel or TLC...that show Monster House fascinates me!

I too rock the pointy shoes...i can admit I am a slave to fashion :p
