NO TV Challenge
 

I've decided to embark on a dangerous journey. Unexplored territory....I...Laila...am NOT going to watch TV for an entire week.

I did this once, and kept a journal. It was seriously like a withdrawal. T.V. is my drug of choice. But I also found that I thought more clearly and was able to focus more on other things. Now, mostly I don't watch television until the end of the day, when I don't care if I can focus or not.
Just be careful not to substitute something else for your television watching--like, don't spend all of the time that you would have spent watching t.v. on the internet--I think that is kind of cheating.

There is no way that I could ever do that. When I was younger I missed out on TV because my grandmother didn't play that watching TV all day everyday, so I was in the library or reading a book 95% of the time, and the last 5% I could watch TV, but only shows that she watched..... so needless to say I am making up for it now that I am a G.A.W.....he he he

Good point. Unfortunately (or fortunately for this project) my computer is sick so I can't use it. :(

How is it working out for you so far?

Well...so far so good. I have kept myself busy and out of the house so I'm not tempted.

HOWEVER, I have 2 of the WEIRDEST dreams and I'm trying to figure out if they are related to not watching tv.

One dream was like a Nikki Giovanni poem the other one involved me making out with Usher. :(

This was a little while ago, but how did it turn out for you?

It won't be hard since there's hardly anything good that comes on nowadays.

I did pretty good. I have now turned into a movie junkie (foreign flicks in particular) thanks to netflix.

What's your next challenge?

Staying off the net for a week! LOL, even I couldn't do that!:)

well that might be just a dream since I heard he's.......nevermind.

I have heard that Usher is bisexual?? I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing surprises me about people anymore.
