Female Kappa
I really don't know how to address this topic, but I was wondering have a female ever tried pledge or who was inderested in Kappa Alpha Psi? How far did she make it, would you recommend it? Why or why not? Also, do you know of any female that tried to join a fraternity?

As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, I will tell you no in a gentleman like manner. There are several wonderful organization that kater to the needs, hopes and aspirations of women. Please so not ask such questions like this again....go ask zeta phi beta sigma ...they take all kommers! LOL

Please let Nupe4Life take care of moderating this board. As a moderator it's up to his discretion as to what is and is not appropriate on the KAPsi board. He has done a good job so far and can take care of anything he feels is inappropriate. Unfortunately, negative remarks are posted on every board. Just cut the moderators a little bit of slack, when getting to them. We can't browse the boards all day! ZetaAce |

It's just like girls trying out for high school football. I'm sorry if I disrespeced any greek organization in any way, I just wanted to know if any females could do it. Truly, I have question some other greeks about it. Some told me it's impossiable, some told me to go for it, but if I do make it far, I'm going to catch hell. I think that's all I have to say.

I am glad Ruby posted again. When I first read this post, it seemed so far fetched that it had to be someone who was ignorant (and I DO NOT mean that negatively or disrespectfully) about how this whole thing works. Remember, some of us are so innundated with Greek Life that we forget there are people who have ABSOLUTELY NO idea what this whole world is about (I was there once too). My girl doesn't even understand what a sorority is -- the world is so far away from her. I am actually curious to read what the whole story is behind this post.

I'm sorry, but this just seems really off base here. If most of your family are both greek or masons -- what in the world would make you think Kappas ever accept women? I can't believe that the thought came from the Kappas joking around with you like that. I don't know. This just seems too weird. I didn't grow up around Greeks, but I am surrounded by them now -- the answer seems so obvious. What in the world would you do as a female member of Kappa Alpha Psi?? Like, how would you participate in all their activities? Sure, it's one thing to chill with them, but, like, how would you participate in . . . well, you guys get what I am saying. It just wouldn't make sense. I am not fussing. Just trying to make sense of this.
P.S. -- what's with all the hostility towards the Zetas and Sigmas by the Kappas (well, that Kappa)? It's a rhetorical question, really. I am just not used to seeing such open hostility among the Divine 9! Oh well, I guess it's all something I'll never truly understand. |

I think that she might be (or is asking for)one of those lesbians who instead of just being gay also lives as or like a man.
