What are you doing for Spring Break?

It looks like I'll be headed to Conception Abbey, a Benedictine monastery, for part of Spring Break in March.

Unfortunately my spring break will be postponed until after graduation in June when two of my girlfriends will be coming out to Cali for a week of debauchery in Vegas, LA, and then down to Cabo.

I'll be heading out to Tampa, Fl two weeks before spring break.


As for an actual spring break...I don't know yet..maybe sleep it off?

Spring Break? What is Spring Break? Oh, that's when I used to go on fun trips with my school friends and whatnot......now it consists of me going to work, same as every single other day. So let's instead call it, Spring Work, because it's certainly not a break.

Our wedding anniversary falls over what used to be Spring Break, so it's a good excuse to have a week of vacation. :D

This year, we're going to Aruba. I'm very excited. Only 33 more days!!!

I think DC again. :)

A week of drunken madness in Acapulco.

That's what I've done for the last 3 spring breaks- work here in Ames. Hell- one Spring Break I was working and had to drive an hour every night to take care of my dog at my parents' house because they went on a road trip!
So this year I said screw it- I'm going to take a break from the modern world and go to Conception Abbey.

While most of my sisters head to somewhere sunny, sandy, and WARM... I'll be sitting here at my desk at work answering phones and filing away. Oh jooooooy

I'm broke so spring break this year is consisting of driving down to the Jacksonville area, taking my dog, camping near, getting a tan, going hiking, etc. My goal is to do it all for less than $200. I'll be by myself other than my dog (my protection...lol), but i don't mind. It'll be my time to get away from everything and everybody and totally refresh.

We're getting called snobs by some sisters because they are also going to Punta Cana the same week, but are at a different resort because ours won't allow spring breakers under 22.

My friends and I have been tossing around some beach ideas, but most likely I'll be hitting the couch.

i'm gonna be in panama city with 8 of my sisters March 8th-13th... it's my last spring break, and our tradition has become to go to pcb, so of course we're doing it again this year... if anyone else will be there then, let me know because i'd love to meet up with you!

Getting up at 5 AM and having 3 crew practices a day. God bless spring training. But we might be in Georgia at the Olympic course to train, which is AMAZING. Either that or we'll be in Oak Ridge TN to train for the spring season. Oh goodie. Calluses and sore muscles, here I come.

I don't think I'll get to go on spring break this year...No $$$. But if that changes for any reason, I'll probably end up in Cancun again. WooT!!!

I will probably stay in town, and go party here. so sad to be an adult with no money and NO TIME to go party.

Most likely staying right here in Miami, although I'm still throwing around the idea of heading back to NY to visit some friends. 80 degree weather and sun or 30-40 degree weather and rain/snow?? That's a tough one. :p

I'm staying with one of my housemates in her house in Atlanta.

It sounds like alumni are willing to pay 50-65% of the travel cost for the whole colony to go down to Cabo Alpha for spring break. I was just there at the beginning of January, but the alumni want me to go again, who can complain? need to figure out if I can put this in my budget.

One of the benefits of being a teacher, you still have spring break!

My Mother in law is coming out to visit. We're taking her to Vegas, Disneyland and Sea World. It should be a fun week.

I'm getting sooo pumped. A group of my sorority sisters and I are going to South Padre Island, TX. It should be a blast, I just can't wait to be warm! :)

Don't know yet--the thesis is due (stupid stupid) on the 28th of March, so being gone between the 14-20 isn't necessarily the smartest thing. :(

This is my last Spring Break for a while, so I'd like to do something fun. The boy and I might go up to Boston for a little while.

You'd be in Boston for St. Patrick's Day, which would be fun.

Haven't had a Spring Break since 1969.
(Although we are going to Ireland at the end of April)

No plans yet for Spring Break at the end of April but I am going away to Las Vegas for part of Midwinter Recess coming up on Feb 20. Spring Break is just before my birthday and it would be nice to just relax and enjoy NYC and the time off....

I'm a teacher, so I still get Spring Break.

Is it horrible that this is the main reason I'm leaning towards teaching??

I bit the lure of making money over spending money- so I will spend the 4th Spring Break in a row working in Ames.

I am a delta gamma alum, I now work for Student travel Services, a spring break tour operator. So if anyone still needs a trip let me know!
