Comedy and Romance
The fledgling romance between Nick, a playboy bachelor, and Suzanne, a divorced mother of two, is threatened by a particularly harrowing New Year's Eve. When Suzanne's work keeps her in New York City for the holiday, Nick offers to bring her kids to the city from Washington D.C. The kids, who have never liked any of the men their mom has dated, and are determined to turn the trip a nightmare for Nick.

Nia looks very pretty in her pictures, my dad LOVES her.

It's so funny - sometime last year I could swear I saw Nia Long out shopping. A few days ago I saw a commercial for this movie and saw a well-known Vancouver landmark, which explains why I saw her at the mall. :D

Cali_Keisha, if I ever meet your dad, I wanna fight him. :p Nia was and will always be mine. :D

I saw the preview for this movie and it reminds me of Johnson Family Vaction. Only in this movie the momma stays at home!

I saw a sneak preview of the movie last night. It was cute but beware it gets sickeningly sweet at the end and you might be in danger of passing out from the sugar shock. :eek: :rolleyes: :D

Also, after watching this movie I have concluded that Nia Long must need money. Bad. :o

I shoulda copped me a copy off the street. :rolleyes: Those kids needed an arse whoppin.' Yes, they all live happily ever after AFTER they find the dad with his new family. I don't understand why the father just didn't notify his first family....well, I guess that's just part of the movie. Anyway...

Let me add:

The movie wasn't ALL bad. I think the movie would serve as a great catalyst for single parents to discuss with their kids (after seeing the film). This would be the case if he or she hasn't gotten back into the dating game after a divorce or the end of a relationship or even if they have.

I know those of us on the other side would GREATLY appreciate it. :D :cool:

I just came from seeing this movie. SUCH A GOOD FLICK!!! I was LMAO @ certain scenes. Just a really good feel good movie.

I even cried at the end when Nick told the kids he loved them. :( :)
