When is it?
It doesn't look as though I'm going to El Paso. The dang on host hotel is booked. :mad:

What I've heard is that room rates haven't been released yet. I'm now worried, though. Because if I can't be at the host hotel, I will have to hustle to book.

Our registration materials haven't been released and this SMALL a hotel is booked. :rolleyes: That's cool. I'll save that change for the Bahamas! :D :cool:

It's March 17th-20th.

I'm not staying at the host hotel. I'm staying with a soror. :)

A GC meet-n-greet is definitely in order.

Another hotel has been secured
 

It was announced at the Regional Leadership Meeting today that additional rooms have been secured at the Millennium.

The room rates will be the same, the portage rates are higher.

I am definitely going to Regionals. We are supposed to get our registration stuff tomorrow.

However, Leadership is another issue. I don't really know how 'bout it my line sisters are and I will discuss the issue with my chapter sorors to see if they are going. Here's the thing: I researched the Atlantis, which is the host hotel (right?). Well, from my calculations, it seems as though it will cost us about $800 each, considering there are 4 of us to a room. The cheapest flight I found from N.O. is $428. I need to start saving today!! I also have to be certain if my sorors don't bail on me.

I'm mailing my registration materials for NARC today. I'm SO excited!!! We're going to have a BALL!!

Aren't there any MORE Notable North Atlantic sorors going? Is it just me and Sorors Bamboozled and Lady_1908? I want to begin planning our GC Meet-n-Greet. Come on, Sorors, I know you're out there!!!!

I know you'll all have fun, but I'm preparing for the South Atlantic Regional Conference to be held in Jacksonville, Florida from April 7-10. And yours truly will be a delegate.

I just know that some of my other GC SARC Sorors are gonna be there! :D

I too will be in my home city, the Big Apple. I'm booked at the Marriott b/c I'll be serving as a delegate and have other Sorors to look out for now. I think I'm just too lazy to want to run run rush from da Bronx.

Hopefully, I will skee yall there.

Lord Willing, I'll be in Las Vegas. I just looked through the registration info, and I'm excited!

Also, I don't have to worry about hotel costs, since my chapter sorors are piling up in a timeshare.

Soror, our host hotel books up every year before the Conference. It seems like it books up as soon as they announce the location. :confused: :)

Well Sorors, another NARC has come and gone.

The Good: I got to meet a LOT of new sorors and my workshops were informative. :D

The Bad: The conference hotel was under renovations and the elevators presented a "challenge" at times. :mad:

The Ugly: Well did yall really expect me to talk about "family" business here? ;)

Hopefully, all Sorors made it back to their destinations safely.

My NARC Sorors, I'm glad you had a wonderful time (with the exception of the elevators at the host hotel) but it's nearly time for the South Atlantic Regional Conference!

Our brothers, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity are also holding their conference the same weekend and just a few blocks from ours.

APhiA and AKA will hold many joint events including: Service Projects, Public Meetings, the Step Show, and Parties!!!

This is my first regional. I'm sooooooo excited. I can't wait to see my LS's. I'm taking my daughter. I have to get her ready. :rolleyes: :D

Oh, you are really going to have a blast. Remember, naps are your friend during conferences.

I didn't get a chance to nap during NARC. When I returned home, I spent most of that afternoon and evening IN BED. :(

FeeFee, I went to bed at 3 in the afternoon and didn't wake up until 7am for work :(

I even wonder if I'm going to get some nap time during FWRC, although I'm not delegating.

If I want to stay a sisterly soror, I HAVE to take naps. It's easier if you arein the host hotel (which we are now). I schedule them. I learned my lesson after my first conference. I was a wreck when I returned.

And I felt so bad b/c it was my mother's birthday that Sunday. Thank God she understood my plight and decided on a raincheck celebration. :D :D

OK for real for real who is going to the joint Alpha East/AKA Great Lakes Joint Convention so I can meet some sorors on this board! I had good times at NARC but I have to get with my region and do the dang thing!
