"Pop Ya Collar" by Usher... always gets me hype when people hate.

"Redeption Song" Bob Marley or Sevie Wonder versions... keeps me motivated when I'm lagging.

"Stir it Up" by Patti LaBelle from the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack...another energizing song (I put it on when I got to clean up my house)

ososuave 08-16-2001 01:07 AM

oh yeah... and I can't forget
"Sem Sema" (I think that's what it's called) by Benie Man. My all time hype regae song!
...now that I think about it, it might be called "Who Am I".

ROOOOO Sorors....

I'm feeling this topic ya'll.....
These songs/CDs are more my favorites as opposed to my themes, though I suppose the two could be synonymous...which in my case may be most accurate:

RAP ----> Keep Your Mind by MJG

R&B ----> It's a toss up between:
My Life by Mary J. Blige
Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu

OLD SCHOOL ----> The Heat Is On by Isley Bros

BE OUT!!
