OH NOES! I hate to admit it, but these bachelor/bachelorette shows are my guilty terrible TV pleasure.

Bachelorette or Las Vegas? Bachelorette or Las Vegas? Tough call, but I'm glad CSI:Miami is a repeat!

BTW: my Mom is now hooked on the Bachelorette and she was commenting that the guys do not appear to be very goodlooking! I guess we'll see!

I think this season may be better than Meredith and Ian!

i think i'd swoon if a guy said that to me. but overall, i'm liking the season. the french guy gets on my nerves, and right now i like the teacher from california!

I'm already posting too much in this thread, but oh well here goes (with help from the website because I didn't remember all the names)...

-Wendell sets off my gaydar.
-Mark is REALLY unattractive.
-Jerry and Ryan from NY are HOT.
-The French guy is HOT, but more for a hot steamy affair than a serious relationship, I suspect.
-I don't find Ben hot, but I LOVE HIM.
-Keith the welder guy is pretty cool too, as is one of the teachers but I can't remember which one.
-John Paul is smarmy and Stu is a little too creepy nice.
-Eeek, TEH VIRGIN!

-Chris the hairstylist was FUNNY AS ALL HELL. I'd like to see a show just about him and his life.
-I wish she kept Eric the firefighter.

I knew I shouldn't have watched...I'm now hooked. ARGH. Darn it all..there goes my monday from 9-10.:)

I don't like Wendell...he has some kind of weird lisp or something which would bug me.

Keith the Welder seriously needs some Crest Whitestripes, because his teeth are STAINED BROWN....eeeewwww

Jerry the Art Gallery dude is hubba hubba.
The French Guy...sexy, but got smarmy after a while.
John Paul is smarmy but he likely has big bucks and Stu is showing signs of Stalkerdom.

What's the deal with 2 virgins? Sorry to be judgemental, but I would think that was kind of odd, given that these guys are like, 28??

Chris the hairstylist --I so knew he wouldn't get a rose, but yeah, he was funny. He needs to Guest Star on "Trailer Park Boys".

I thought the guy who fainted was cute, but a little long in the tooth. However, he was from Chicago....no relocation issues there to deal with?!

My FAVORITE is Matt M the FIREFIGHTER....ROAR!!

- Oh yeah, that french guy was way too creepy and smarmy for me.
- I'm totally rooting for the teacher from Michigan... Who I believe is the one who got her the bear. That was just cute. Plus, I'm from Michigan. :)
- Chris was cracking us up! I agree, he needs his own reality show. I'd tune in to watch an alcoholic hairstylist from Kentucky every week.
- I also liked Keith the welder. And the one called Ben, I think.

It's hard to remember which one is which! Anyway, I'm hooked.

I'm a little bitter towards welders right now, but he is cute. And as my dad told me over the weekend when I made a similar comment about welders, "It's not like you're really in a position to be picky." Thanks, Dad, for the support. Why can't James Caan's character from Las Vegas be my dad?

But I digress. I also thought Jeff and Jason were really hot.

As soon as I heard Chris the hairstylist speak, I knew he was from Kentucky. He was on the news here last night after the show. Too funny!

I am so excited for this season! First, I wanted Jen to win when she was on the first time! Second, Jerry....hot, hot, hot...went to high school with my best friend in New York, I didn't realize that he moved to California though.

Anyway, Jerry is super hot, the guy with the teddy bear was sweet, Stu is scary, and I am really disappointed that she picked Fabrice. He was so rude when the other guy was trying to talk and apparently he has a temper! This is going to be such a good season!

One of my sisters had an away message saying that he was her 10th grade teacher. I don't know what subject he taught though, but I think that the Sig Delts at MSU are all going to be rooting for Mike the teacher from Michigan...

I never watched this show, but now I am hooked...Can't wait for the season to get rolling along...

Did anyone else notice there was a oddly high percentage of guys from CA? I wonder why...

b/c a lot of them are probably wanna be actors hanging out in California and think that the way to "get discovered" is to go on a Reality TV show.

I am addicted! I made my husband watch with me last night, and he could barely hold his dinner down when he heard some of the lines the guys were giving! :D

Jerry the art gallery guy-SO HOT!!
Ben ( I think is his name), the guy from Aspen- also very good looking!
Stu-run away!! run away! he's such a stalker. Very scary.
The guy from Michigan-the teacher-the one who gave her the teddy bear-so nice!!
The welder guy-no clue what his name is-and he's not so hot ( IMHO), but he seemed to have a great personality, and I like him!

2. Is Jen Schefft up for even more heartbreak? After her split with former "Bachelor" Andrew Firestone, rumors are swirling that one of the contestants competing to win her heart on "The Bachelorette" might be gay. A posting on a website dedicated to all things TV claims that Fabrice is a gay actor and that he even went out with him about six months ago. Plus, this guy claims Fabrice has a current boyfriend. But producers say all the players all undergo background checks, but have no comment on whether or not they may have overlooked a homosexual.

My thoughts on Fabrice are, even if he *is* gay (I don't think he is), I don't think he'll make it past the ceremony. I think she goes either from 15 to 10
15 to 7 (remember how she was bawling about having to "cut half")?
I don't think he'll get a rose, next time around.

And if he does, he WILL NOT make the top 4.

BTW: Fabrice looks like David Spade, but somewhat cute (not to exclude the smarm factor).

How exactly did Fabrice get to be on the show? I thought that you had to either be a US citizen, a permenant resident of the US or a hold a valid Canadian passport? Fabrice screams non permenant resident expat to me.

I like Mike (the teddy bear teacher), Wendall, and Ben. They kept focusing on Ben when she was "previewing" the guys, so i'm thinking either he'll turn out to be a total loser or he's the one. We'll have to see.

anyone see on the website that when the question was asked "why do you want to get married" a lot of those jokers said it's either that they are "getting old" or it's a "timing thing" and one guy said, "i'm not pulling the hot chicks anymore........"

I don't understand how Jen could pick swarmy John Paul and geeky virgin boy Josh over Michael. Is she blind?! The guy was built. Did you see him flex at the end of tonight's episode? Damn. That was good stuff. And their father's were fraternity brothers. That should have automatically gotten him to the next round.

Glad she dropped stalker Stu and the fire fighter who asked for her autograph.

After tonight's rose ceremony I can see that Fabrice is very gay. But Jen seems to have missed that.

I hope the blonde guy who gave her the cross took it back after she didn't pick him. I would of.

I totally agree she screwed up by getting rid of Michael, the cute teacher who gave her the teddy bear! He was my favorite!!!
I do like Ben and I think Keith(the first impression rose guy) is cute too. But Fabrice needs to get back on the plane to France, as well as Josh. NOT A FAN!!
And yes, I don't think they are as hot as they have been but I am still sucked in!!

HAHA! When John Paul was on TV, I was yelling at Mr. valkyrie to come look so he could see what I refer to as smarmy. He totally creeps me out.

If I had to bet $ on who she'd end up with, right now it would be Ben -- although I didn't see the first half of last night's show, so I have no idea what I missed.

I was really creeped out by Matt (the firefighter) who wanted her to sign and kiss his ticket (eww!) and the guy who gave her the guardian angel kinda creeped me out, too.

So from previewsfor next week .. what do you think Fabrice's news will be? I can't believe he pouted over being given the last rose.

I realized tonight that John Paul reminds me of Christian Bale's charcter in "American Psycho". They both have that overly slick, yuppie, businessman thing going on. I'm not saying he's psycho...just creepy. And what was up with him not wearing socks at the rose ceremony?!

Fabrice is just odd. They crying and then kissing...umm ok. Can't wait to find out his secret.

I'm so bummed she gave Keith the boot...he's a total cutie. And WHAT WAS WITH FABRICE...he is such a weird dude!!! Who cries on a first date? A two year old, that's who. Ew, that guy freaks me out. Luckily she did keep uber-hot Jerry...he's totally got the sexy confidence that girls love. Definitely not sorry to see marathon man go...my favorite quote from him: "Jen needs a warrior and I'm a warrior" (paraphrasing, clearly)...

Had I been Jen, upon giving Fabrice that rose, I would've taken it back and said, "If you don't want it, just say so!" What was up with that attitude? He was all upset because he got the last rose? Oh Puuullllleeeeeeezeee!!!" You got a rose! Be happy! She's not playing games with you...I feel Jen's giving him too much credit...

My guess his resentment will pull him out of the next rose ceremony and he'll decide that her "games" aren't worth it and he'll drop out (at least that's what I hope!"
