Day 4 just started.....thoughts anyone?

Not on yet out here (15 minutes) but I am VERY excited.

awesome 2 hours, looking forward to tomorrow night's 2 hour set also.

Sucks that I had to miss season 3, but I'll get around to renting those dvds when I have some spare time. I think I'll be able to follow things alright, just kind of confused as to why the president isn't black anymore, but I'll deal...

I'm not so sure about all the new supporting characters...Chloe seems to be the only one back, and she can be a little grating. I don't mind the new president, the Palmer storyline was drawn out enough, and it's good that Little Miss "writer's shortcut for showing Jack's emotional side by constantly ending up in extreme mortal danger" Kim has settled down with Chase in the suburbs. (anyone else wondering if certain events will come out when they fight - "Well, since your dad whacked off my arm...!!!")

That Driscoll lady seems so cold, almost in a boring way. George Mason and Ryan Chappelle were a**holes, but at least they had spark, some personality. Apparently holding a leadership position with CTU is extremely detrimental to long term survival (see: bullet to back of Chappelle's head last season), but at this point, if Driscoll eats it, I could care less.

Jack's new girl, jury's still out on her. Seems likeable but no chutzpah, especially compared to Tragic Terri or Kate, Queen of the WASPs. My brother and I instantly nicknamed her "terrorist bait" - skinny blonde, big scared bambi eyes, she's a perfect hostage. Before the end of the 1st hour, I told my brother, "I bet you within the end of tonight's show she'll have a gun pointed at her head."

The terrorist family is the most intriguing of the new characters.

I really liked Tony and Michelle and want to see them back. Heck, I just want to know what happened to them...I would think if the President could pardon Nina, he could pardon Tony. Tony screwed up but in the end it didn't cost lives.

I got into this show thru the DVDs and I am NOT going to like having to wait a whole week between shows!

I didn't watch last season, it moved so slow in the beginning and then I lost interest.

I was really hoping that FX would do 24 of 24 like they have done in the past.

Oh well, this season seem interesting enough.

The wife the family is very intriguing.....that girlfriend is going to be annoying, I can tell.

Yah, they need some better supporting cast (working at CTU). I didn't really like any of them except Chloe. But it was a good 2 hours and I'm glad there's another 2 tonight. :D

10:00 am - Jack's robbing a convenience store. AWESOME.

is it me or is everyone at CTU just got too much soap opera going on in their lives?

Only Jack's brain goes there. DH and I both screamed "LET THE AIR OUT OF HIS TIRES!!!" but noooo, he has to go put a ski mask on. I miss snarking on Kim/Spawn, though. Too many new characters. How do you like the way they are trying to make chloe look like a girl? Highlighted hair, makeup, tailored/feminine blouse.

My question is, when do we find out about the personal-vendetta-against-Jack-of-the-season? You know this was all started by someone Jack supposedly betrayed in the past....I think it's Terri...she didn't actually die, and is now getting back at him for cheating on her with Nina. LOL.

thank g-d for bit torrent, or else I would have missed out on this week's episode. Got so busy monday I forgot to watch or tape...

Next week will definitely be a big turning point, i can feel it :)

I am really enjoying this season so far. We taped the 1st four hours and watched it all in one sitting and it still wasn't enough. I really like the suspense in this one. I can't wait till next Monday.

I have to say though, Fox better not make me wait until January again - that was toture.

I was enjoying this season up until:

bad guy in the yellow truck goes "Its been an honour serving with you...Allahu Akbar"..drives truck into another truck...truck explodes..

I thought 24 would be more creative than that.....disappointing really.

But yea, that's like the hollywood terrorist sign off line, probably ripped it from the palestinian suicide bombers. I never understood why they chanted G-d is great, if He's so great why are they committing suicide?

Oh well, really sucks that he can't interrogate his ass now, lol.

I guess the suicide just makes it that much harder for Jack to get into the compound before it's destroyed... I guess we'll find out Monday...

I'm betting that he sneaks in, saves the daugter, but I don't know about the secretary of state. DAMNIT, i gotta see this episode badly. Too much adrenaline going into this show!

this is turning out to be one helluva day....

It just keeps better and better. It makes me look forward to mondays, which is oftern hard to do.

Tony's back! I actually shouted at the tv!!!
(this is the first season since season 1 that I haven't read the spoilers b/f the episode, so I'm enjoying the surprises).

I just hope he doesn't bring Michelle back...

I shouted also when I saw Tony, even though I heard somewhere, but had not read any spoilers.....there are just certian shows that one should not be spoiled on

My fiance and I were also cheering at the TV when Tony walked in the at the end... it was an awesome surprise.

I thought it was corny....especially after they are still going on with the show...

why should they cancel the show? Did something happen to prompt that message or am I just not understanding this...

I didn't see it, but they rebroadcast 24 on CHTV, a Vancouver lsland station, so all the ads are Canadian content - but I did hear about these disclaimers.

I'm not saying they should cancel. I just thought ithe disclaimer didnt really have a purpose..


and I dont think anything did happen to prompt it...except for the fact that they are using another muslim terrorist group..for the 3rd straight season.

We are really running out of bad guys to kill....:(

damn and I was hoping Marianne (Aisha Tyler) would pull through for at least another episode or two, she's hot! :p

This week wasn't as suspensful as the last few weeks, but you can't expect every episode to be a nail biter, can you?

Yeah! Another season of 24 has begun. Thank god I only have to wait a week (and not months) to see what happens after last night's cliffhanger.

Also, it's strange seeing Shawn Majumder in a non-comical role. I could hear hints of his Newfie accent through his Arabic accent though.

And 24 has another link to CBC comedy - Carlo Rota, who plays Morris, is also one of the leads on Little Mosque on the Prairie.

I can't belive Curtis is dead; actually I can believe it - nobody but Jack seems to last - but I just found out that Roger Cross is a Vancouverite...

I have a question for those that are fans of the show...I have been marathon watching all the seasons of 24 since April

I am 1/2 way thru season 4 and now I am starting to see an annoying pattern...

Is it me or do these folks here have a lax screening process?

Why has it been just about each season CTU gets a MOLE infiltrated in?

For a group that is suppoed to be preventing terrorists from infiltrating the US, they sure have a hard time keeping them out of CTU !

And...everbody has a 'family crisis'

The most unbelievable one was Season 3 with Chase's baby...that was was off the meter....I may make it thru season 4 but I may be done after that...
