it felt good, but I didn't jump up and down because I was 23 when I finally lose it.

Relieved? Personally I was glad to have it over with since I never considered virginity to be valuable.

WVU alpha phi 12-29-2004 07:54 PM

Definitely a lot of pain when it actually happened. Afterwards, happy because I was a virgin and so was my boyfriend when we lost it to eachother. But I was waaaaay too young, looking back now I have no idea what I was thinking.

Me neither. Not anymore. I'm planning to go from a virgin to a HO BAG!

tres relieved, since the Reagan Administration had convinced me nuclear war was imminent and I would die a virgin.

BobbyTheDon 12-30-2004 01:40 AM

god i was so young. i was such an asshole too. i didnt give a shit, i just wanted to get laid. i said alot of " oh yeah. sure. yeah you mean alot fo me. uh huh. yep. oh yeah...cool...no this means alot to me. for sure. uh huh....sweeeeeeet.

then i thought about it. man, that was really awesome. i wonder what it " taste like?"

then i spent about a year trying to dodge the girl. except when i wanted to have sex with her.

she turned out to be a major ho bag. good times.

KillarneyRose 12-30-2004 02:54 AM

I remember being really hungry afterward, so we went to Eat-n-Park for a burger.

wanderersarah 12-30-2004 04:15 AM

I had a "That's it?" moment.

And see, I wasn't sure mine went anywhere at all afterwards.

PureGoldF2K1 12-31-2004 01:09 AM

Hmm slightly confused because I wasnt sure if I had actually done it at all....looking back, I obviously hadnt "technically" (because I was young and the guy had no clue what he was doing) but since I spent so much time thinking I had done it, the first time i ACTUALLY lost it, it didnt feel like the first time. So I kind of feel like I was cheated out of that "first time" feeling!

Does any of that make sense?? Haha

You are competing with Rob for best answer in this thread.

omegamcgee 12-31-2004 02:45 AM

Let me set the stage:

1972 Ford Pickup
Back road/dirt road in rural Arkansas
Guy I had been with for a month, was already engaged too, and was a senior in high school, just like me
Guy's birthday.

BAD. REALLY REALLY BAD. But I guess I made up for it, cause I didn't just lose my virginity, I eradicated all traces of it.

LauGh A Lot 12-31-2004 02:19 PM

hmm.. this is an interesting thread to read since i am still a virgin (i'm 17). i was wondering if you guys thought it was weird to start college as a virgin? are a lot of girls still virgins starting freshman year of college? like.. i don't want to wait until marriage or anything, i kind of want to get it over with.. but then i think.. if i waited this long.. i kind of want it to be special.

No, I don't think it's "weird". I'm not saying you should save yourself for marriage, but you should save yourself for someone that you really like, and who really likes you. Buy some condoms and lubricant so that at least you are 'prepared' and you can protect yourself from pregnancy and STDs.
Note: If you can't bring yourself to buy these items, then you probably shouldn't be having intercourse.

You will be surprised how many people, including many guys, will have mad respect for you when they find out you're still a virgin. There are a lot of hoe bags in college and the fraternity boys know about all of them. Don't do it just to "get it over with." :)

Personally I think it's uncommon but definitely not weird. Two of my sorority sisters started college as virgins and one of them still is a year a half later. I wouldn't do it just to "get it over with" cuz I think you'll regret it if it isn't special. I'd wait until it's with someone you really care about and the feeling is mutual, and you'll probably find him in college!

Not weird at all. I was a virgin when I started my freshman year of college, as were most of my high school friends. I remained a virgin until second semester of that year. I agree, don't do it just to get it over with. Find someone you really like and if he's worth it, he won't think it's weird that you are a virgin.

Rio_Kohitsuji 01-02-2005 02:34 PM

LauGH--- I'm with you, well, I was at least :p I started college as a virgin, and I too wanted to just "get it over with". But with my situation, I had just been dumped by a jerk that I had been dating for over 2 years...who never wanted to have sex with me. (turns out I was too small for him.....he liked girls 300+) So when I started college I was just wanting acceptance in the sexual department, well, boooooy did I find it :p

I lost my V after only knowing this guy for 2 weeks....didn't even know his last name.....and I was drunk for the first time too....didn't know I still was a V.....I am now marrying him after 3 years of dating :p :D

But to the topic...I was indifferent about it, heh. I was glad to get the whole damn thing over with.

James 01-02-2005 02:40 PM

Isn't that technically sexually assault? Feminists would be appalled.

I'd definitely wait until it was the right time. Don't just get it over with. If the guy is worth it, he won't mind that you're a virgin. If he minds, he's probably not worth it.

James 01-02-2005 08:08 PM

Thats so self-defeating.

I am not criticising you xylochick . . but its a bit like saying "if it was meant to be it will work out." Despite how much someone screws it up.

I don't think his value his affected by his not wanting to wait for her to have sex with him. Sex is an important and huge part of a romantic relationship. In fact without sex they usually call it friendship.

No, actually, without romantic LOVE they usually call it friendship. Sex doesn't define a relationship.

The two relationships I had in high school without sex were MUCH more indicative of a "relationship" to me than the one in college with sex.

I also think you're twisting the meaning of the "if it's meant to be" phrase. People don't use that to allow people to get away with isht . . . they use it to convince themselves that if people treat them like isht IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE so they can move on.

You may not think someone's value is affected by not waiting to have sex, but most women do. It is a MAJOR sign of respect for them and if you're not willing to wait at least a cursory amount of time, you are simply not going to have many meaningful relationships. As I've stated here on GC before, guys don't realize the number of emotional issues that many girls (although by no means all) have with sex. If you push that, with many girls you'll be gone.

I think my first time matches this description the best. I don't hold sex on a very sacred pedestal, but who knows, if I keep things up I may become a born again virgin :D

I started college as a virgin, and last time I checked I was a guy... Don't get overworked about it, when the time comes you'll have a special moment with a guy. Just don't tell him till afterwards that your a virgin, you might give him performance anxiety, lol!
