Moving To Dallas
 

Hey sisters,

I was wondering who lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area on here.

I'm moving hopefully by February to this area. I would love to meet some sisters before I make my transition. Let me know!

ATTN all DFW ADPis (and everyone else who is interested in coming down for a road trip ;) ) I *really* *really* *really* want to do something fun w/ everyone... and I think it would be a great thing to do esp. before skerbow leaves the northern parts of texas. for everyone interested, let me know!!!!

also if you have any ideas on what ya'll want to do (could be anything from a nice lunch one afternoon... or something a little crazy like an afternoon/evening at Dave & Busters or Main Event)... so I kinda get a feel of what everyone wants to do so we can put something together :)

I'm game for getting together, but I'm thinking what about something cheap. Maybe pick up New York Subs and meet at the GU house for a chick flick night?? Also, anything after the 15th would be best. Is everyone ok with a Friday night or a Sunday early evening??

(I'm so craving NY Sub :D )

somehow i don't think that would go over well with the residents of said house, knowing my sisters as i do, but i could definitely keep the group who wants to meet up-to-date with when the house is free if we do decide to meet there. i like the idea, means i wouldn't have to drive anywhere:p
it would also rule out sunday evenings, since the chapter room is used for exec meetings, alpha meetings and sisterhood events sundays from about 6pm on.

oh, and i'm making this request now, nowhere that is 21 and up!!! i'm a youngin', but i still want to participate!:D

Why do you think it would not go over well with residents of the house? I understand about conflicting times on a Sunday but any other time...?

i don't know how to describe it, i guess.

and any other time, it just depends on the day. i only know of a few events so far, all of which i listed on the website, but things get planned all crazy-like. but really.. most nights other than sundays and mondays are typically safe.

and i think i'd have to say the same thing :p

as far as days go, personally sundays are best for me b/c I am usually out of town on the weekends... i think weekdays would be pretty good after next week b/c of work (waaaaaaaaaaaaay out in mckinney... usually very tired after getting back home)... I'm sure we can figure something out though...

You can update mine, I'm game any time just depending on what I already have scheduled. I'm not working any more so as long as I have money, I'll be there.

There are a bunch of ZX alums living in the DFW area right now. My little diamond sister is one of them and a couple of my best friends. If you need someone to hang out with or go out with or whatever, I could try to get you in touch with them!

Irving does have a CHili's. I konw they have one on 183 and Belt Line.

This sunday works for me!!! What time are we thinking...after church or evening? I'll be in church til 1220ish. I'm going to talk to Chrissy Packen too. She lives in Grand Prairie and we both attend the same church.

I won't be able to this Sunday. I have my final baby shower on Saturday in Longview.
