I'm engaged! Scott proposed on Thursday night. I knew that it was coming sometime soon, but he totally surprised me with a special dinner and both of our immediate families there! I was blown away! :D

Thank you all very much! I am really excited and so very happy! Scott and I went to the church yesterday and also scouted out our top two halls. It looks like the offical date will be July 8th, 2006.

Yep...we've looked at San Marino Club, Petruzzellos, and Penna's of Sterling.
Scott liked Petruzzellos a lot, but we're going with San Marino.

They are all awesome! I have a cousin who had her reception at Penna's of Sterling Heights and had the WHOLE HALL. She had reserved it three years in advance, while they were buidling it! There were like 700 people at her wedding.. it was amazing. Of course, that's my Italian side of the family! I love San Marino, I had another cousin get married there. I've been to Petruzzellos but I can't remember for what... probably another cousin's wedding (I have a lot of cousins!). Actually, it might have been my prom... (bad memory comes with old age ya know!). What church? Are you Catholic?
