Sorors and Sisterfriends....even though I wasn't the one who initially started this post, I really liked a lot of these websites once I checked them out. I am on the internet at work everyday...I had the most boring job on the planet this summer and needless to say a lot of spare time on my hands when I was at work.
I was looking at another forum and I became a member of blackexpressions.com, I just got my first shipment of books today. Keep those interesting websites coming...! |
Because I want to be a good girl and follow the rules, I did a search http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif.
I wanted to share with everyone a website that a member of my book club shared with us at this month's meeting. It is a website filled with information on cities that are frequented by Black Americans. http://www.SoulofAmerica.com |
If any of you are hair and hair care product fanatics (like myself http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif) check out some of these sites:
www.nappyhair.com www.hairweb.com www.carolsdaughter.com www.ebenenaturals.com www.blackhaircare.com www.hairwigs.com Hope these all work! Have fun! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif |
I started a community service program on my campus called Adopt-A-Grandparent. It is similar to the national program with some changes. Here's the website that I created for it. Check it out and feel free to sign the guestbook!
http://famuadoptagrandindex.homestead.com/Index1.html Also a young lady who just graduated from my school, started an internet business selling custom-made clothing from Africa, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta. Her website is: http://www.soalonline.com |
One of my favorite time killers is: http://www.macromedia.com/shockzone/arcade
You need the shockwave plug-in to view it, but my favorite game to play is InkLink...it's just like Pictionary. |

Excellent Black Greek Resource!
To the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta ...
I just came across an EXCELLENT resource that I wanted to share. There is a website called Black Greek Network (www.blackgreeknetwork.com) that you need to take a look at! The site is owned/managed by a Kappa and a PHA Mason and is dedicated to the notion of BGLO's as networking resource. It is extremely well done and features profiles on everyone who joins the site (with pictures) and also does monthly spotlights on: * A BGLO "Founder of the Month" * A BGLO "Entrepreneur of the Month" * A BGLO "Famous Person of the Month" You need to take the time to peep this site - I promise you won't be disappointed! (And no - I have no personal or financial affiliation with them - I am just "spreading some useful info!") |
