Cannot stand cats, dogs are aiiight.

I vote for NOTHING but maybe some goldfish.

Chi_ZETABBW 07-04-2001 09:46 AM

Just found out I was allergic to cats, but guess what I never liked them anyway.
I say dogs, but don't have time or patience to train.

I'm with CT4 on this. give me some fish and maybe a dog & i'm cool.

Conspiracy2 07-04-2001 10:23 AM

I don't know I kinda like them both. I have both. A 4 yr old Beagle named Kizzy B who is always full of enerygy and ready to play...cannot wait for me to come home on the weekends, we have a huge backyard and I am the only one who will play fetch with her! And a 18-yr old cat named Abbey! Yes yall he is still kicking, he acts more and more like a person every day. THe cat has more attitude, he can't stand the dog and she just loves him!

MaMaBuddha 07-04-2001 01:01 PM

i have to say dogs...they are women's best friend to sic on a man when done wrong... *lol* http://www.plauder-smilies.de/devil/diablotin.gif

my lil pooch is named Phaorah....he is a dobie and greyhound mix

D.COM 07-04-2001 01:53 PM

I am also allergic to cats...There was one at my aunt's house when I was younger. I can touch them or be near them , but I would need to wash my hands immediately after that before the allergy begins.
I LOVE DOGS! I've always had a dog growing up. They are smart, emotional, and loyal.

CelestialBlu1 07-04-2001 01:55 PM

fish...i don't like animals that take too much time and care...that is what zoos are for...plus fish don't tear up your house or stink...or you know what all over the place...tear up your yard...all that fun stuff...i don't like cats...their sneaky...and dogs are too much trouble when you can't attend to them properly...

I'm a cat person. I have a Siamese cat named Sasha. She's such a cutie and she's so funny! I just love her to pieces! I like dogs too, but little dogs. I want a "hot dog" dog (what are they called?) But I'll take a cat for now b/c...well they pee in a box! That's great! Don't have to walk'em. They clean themselves and they don't make hardly any noise. So I'll take a cat any day.

I prefer dogs just because I often find that cats just are so unfriendly. If I come across a cat that is friendly and doesn't ignore me,then I don't mind it.

ChaosDST 07-04-2001 08:11 PM

I HATE CATS---THEY ARE EVILLLLL!

I Love dogs, though. I don't like small "toy-like" dogs...I like big dogs--

CodeBlue_R3 07-04-2001 08:48 PM

I'm a dog person I have two rotts left.

When I get married I dont think I want dogs. Think I will incorporate pet fish into my decorating.

DreamfulOne 07-04-2001 11:15 PM

When I lived in Freeport Bahamas I had two dogs, Brandon & Buddy...Brandon was a Golden Retriever...he died of heartworms http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif after I moved back to the states. Buddy is a mixed breed ~ Golden Retriever/Black Labador (I think I spelled that right ~ opps if I didn't). Buddy now lives w/ my cousin in Freeport, which I don't see that much.

My current stance on animals is NONEXISTANT! I don't want any cats due to allergies and dogs, well....they take up too much time and energy which I don't have time to commit.

I'll have to say NEITHER!

DELTAQTE 07-05-2001 04:09 AM

My grandma swears that cats can control you with their eyes, that's why they always catch birds, cause they got that "black majic" in them, lol.

I love cats cause they don't give a damn. Dogs to me are the fake ones, they always happy and trying to please you, but I do love me some little dogs, they will try to start something with a big dog in minute, lol.

I had 2 fish and one ate the other one, I was so upset that I flushed the other one down the toliet in anger, needless to say, my dad said "no more fish for you girl" lol.

Hey Eastcoast Sunshine...I have an APBT/SharPei mix named Rambler (female) and she's spoiled rotten by my mother and grandmother whenever they dog-sit. I'd have to say I'm most definately a dog person, and probably will always have some dog around me.

CATS!

I like dogs but I LOVE cats. I grew up with two. My baby Alex is now a grumpy old cat and is still running things at my momma's house. I have my little girl named Justice (is she an attorney's cat or what?) and she is the funniest. She loves me to death and just me. She is not mean, just a big scardy cat when it comes to other people. But she likes my boyfriend.

Neither.
If I had to had to choose, it would probably be a fish. But if I did get a dog, it would be one of those little ones that I can put in check. I've had too many bad experiences with big dogs.

Definitely CATS!! I have two lovely felined friends in my home and I wouldn't trade them for a stinky messy dog ever!

straightBOS 07-05-2001 09:00 PM

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs...
Cats are so rude. How you gonna live in my house, I pay the bills, I buy the cat food--and you own the sofa, you decide what you will and will not eat?

Dogs are cool because they depend on you and they know it. Cats are too independent.

My cousin has a cat and I swear that thing is always rolling her eyes at me.

pebbles_6 07-18-2001 11:51 AM

Sorry for responding to a semi-old post, but I had to put my vote in: DOGS DOGS and more of those cute, adorable, fluffy, loyal and lovable puppy DOGS.

I have two Pomeranians and if you want to know I how I spell stress RELIEF, then they're it. They greet me so lovingly EVERY day that I get home from work, they're bright and full of energy and they try to lick my tears when I'm sad. If that's not a friend, I don't know what is...I haven't met a cat yet that meets that description!

To my babies (Hailey & Mya) I love ya!

By the way, I have to see that movie, as well as Best In Show. I heard both are hilarious.

There were pics of animals but I am too lazy to save them all and post them. . .

so just think of cute dogs as you read this :D

If you want someone who will bring you the paper without first tearing it apart to remove the sports section

Buy a dog.

If you want someone willing to make a fool of himself simply over the joy of seeing you

Buy a dog.

If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never says its not quite as good as his mother made it

Buy a dog

If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want

Buy a dog.

If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn't give a hoot about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies

Buy a dog.

If you want someone who is content to get up on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores

Buy a dog.

If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually

Buy a dog.

But, on the other hand, If you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness...........

Then my friend, Buy a cat! :D

(You thought I was talking about men didn't you!)

I've had cats and dogs as pets. I prefer DOGS!!!! Cats are too emotional for...always got an attitude with mommy over something. My dog Flash is sooooo cute. He loves when I come home from work...he sits and gives me his paw to "shake" and then he rolls over. He listens when I talk...I guess because he has no choice in the matter...lol!!!! He is just the shiz-nit!!!!:p

Jill1228 01-07-2004 06:28 PM

Love them both, but right now I have 2 cats named Thelma and Louise. My side of the family is the ANTI-CAT!

They always knew I loved cats but were not happy when I got a cat...that's ok...they ain't gotta come visit!

btb87 01-07-2004 07:32 PM

Dogs, paws down. . . (please, no stoning!)

Always have had dogs, until I moved to Florida. Dogs are selfless, give you unconditional love and can look at you and make you think that no matter what you do, it's fine and the rest of the world is wrong!

Cats on the other hand. . .

btw. . . will definitely be into the Westminster Kennel club dog show February 9th & 10th! http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung...smiley-037.gif

That car probably is! Some cats do have a straight up 'tude *lol*,
But they are little sweethearts. Their demeanor is so much like humans that its uncanny!

I love CATS!

NOWorNEVER 01-08-2004 11:17 AM

I LOVE dogs because they will be loyal to you even if you're a lousy human being. I especially like little dogs, but right now I just don't have the time for one. When I get settled into a real job, I want a pug, another shih tzu, and a maltese.

I think cats are beautiful but I'm just not a cat person. I had a cat for ONE DAY a few months ago. I named him Hercules. He was a 6 week old white kitten w/ green eyes and he scared the crap out of me. Eeew, just the way cats move and the way he was crawling all over my bed and scratching me cuz he couldn't control his nails. I didn't give him a chance but maybe I'll try handling a cat again later on.

Dancerella1908 01-09-2004 05:12 AM

Definitely dogs!!!

Cats are creepy! My friend had 2 in college. When I'd visit her they'd be climbing and peeing all over everything. They'd be on top of the cabinets, climbing down the curtains, they'd shot across the room out of no where, sneaking around etc.etc.Cats are also finiky. They only come around when they want to be bothered. Hell Nah! I couldn't deal w/ that.

With a dog, you pretty much know where it is at all times.Dogs are loyal, loving and protective. Also you can train them to obey commands. They won't be climbing the ceiling either. I love my dog,Piston.(hey, I'm from Detroit!):D
My pumpkin is the bomb! and he's very protective of his mommy!:D

Renegade02 01-09-2004 02:30 PM

It has to be the cats!

Ok, cats are not evil. They are the most wonderful things in the world. I have had one since I was little and now I have "Miss Kitty" (my mom named her). She is about 15 yr. old and will not die. She thinks that she is black anyway. I have never seen a cat that eats ham, turkey, and cheese. She will fight you over a sandwich. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs also, but I will always get a cat first. I even have a cat tattoo on my leg.

--But for something smaller, I just got a rabbit for Christmas and I already had a beta. Now you wanna talk about evil, get a rabbit
