Sigmagrrl's post about the cereal restaurant in Philly got me in a breakfast food state of mind so I thought I'd ask:

"What is your favorite Cereal?"


My top three:

1. Corn Pops
2. Sugar Smacks
3. Kix

Honorary Mention: Rice Chex

1) Life Cereal--It's the cereal that my brother and I can both share. (It never stays around our apartment too long!)

Lucky Charms, Apple Jacks, Cheerios, Oreo-O's..........mmm I love cereal.

I LOVE CEREAL! Some favorites: cocoa and fruity pebbles, cinnamon life, cheerios, kix, rice chex, special K with strawberries, Quaker oatmeal squares, and there's this KILLER raspberry granola made by some naturey company that is just amazing.

I've cut down on my cereal consumption but we still seem to have 6-8 boxes on top of our fridge for just us two.

My favorites (in no particular order):

Honeycomb, Crunchberries (hee, I first typed "Crunkberries" wouldn't that be something?), Cinnamon Life, Crunchy Corn Bran, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Reese's Puffs, PB Cap'n Crunch, Rice Krispies, Honey nut Oh's, Golden Grahams, Lucky Charms, Marshmallow AlphaBits, SpecialK, Cheerios and oatmeal (which may or may not be considered "cereal.")

Oh the joys of living in a city with not one, but TWO cereal companies. (Quaker Oats and General Mills. In fact, one of the gals in my alumnae group is in charge of quality control of Cinnamon Life at Quaker and can boxes for free.)

I am a Corn Flakes, Cheerios, Crispix kind of girl. I don't like really sweet cereals.

OMG I can't believe I forgot cap'n crunch -- they're all awesome.

OK, let's see. First, I need to say: I only eat cereal with warm milk. Cold cereal cuts the room of my mouth. It's not hot milk, it just has the chill taken out every so slightly....It's a science really!;)

Side note: growing up we only had 'low sugar' cereals. I knew there were others but never had them. When I went away to college the 'cereal buffet" that was available at every meal amazed me and I became hooked on Lucky Charms. I usually ended dinner with a bowl of them!

I don't think that they make it anymore, but Nutri-Grain Almond Raisin was my all time favorite. It tasted great, and it didn't become soggy from milk.

I love Frosted Mini Wheats and Cookie Crisp!

Kashi Heart to Heart rocks my world. I eat it both with milk and without. It's awesome.

Honorable mention goes to Fruity Pebbles and Apple Jacks.

J'adore Frosted Flakes (yummm!), Rice Krispies (sigh!), Froot Loops (delicious!), and Cap'n Crunch. I would eat nothing but cereal all day if my mom didn't call and remind me that there's other stuff out there.

Freshman year I lived off of cereal because the cafeteria food sucked. I can't really think of a cereal I don't like, except for maybe Oat Bran Nuggets or something equally healthy. If I had to only choose one...I gotta have my Pops.

Life Cereal is my absolute favorite. I also like Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Rice Krispies, Cap'n Crunch Crunchberries, Trix, Frosted Flakes, Golden Grahams, Waffle Crisp, Reese's Puffs, Cookie Crisp, Smores Crunch...

Why yes, I do eat like a 10 year old. :D

I like Apple Jacks, Fruit Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Honey Nut Chex. Sometimes I'll get Fruity Pebbles or Cookie Crisp. Generally I'll bag some cereal in a ziplock baggie and eat it at work in the mornings.

Anyone else here NOT put milk on their cereal? Everyone makes fun of me b/c I eat my cereal dry. But I don't like milk, so I won't put it on my cereal.

Cheerios and the old Shredded Wheat! Now all it is is suger mini wheat!:mad:

Any kind of Chex mix is only any good to make a great party mix along with nuts and pretzels!:D

No sugared cereals for me. I love love love Kix. Best cereal out there if you ask me. Multigrain Cherios, Regular Cheerios, Life Cereal.

Add me to the Life cereal lovers. It's the only one I really really like. I love them when they are really sogged up with milk.

I also like oatmeal, the apple and cinnamon one.

I like chex as a snack, no milk, but I REALLY love the Chex snack mix, does that count as cereal?

Honey nut cheerios-I am like a kid, I will get a huge ziplock baggie of that stuff and eat it all day long!!
