Which fraternity do Sigma Kappas date most?
 

I'm kinda new here... I just went active on the 18th (woo!) and I thought I'd get a little curious.

My boyfriend's a Teke, and I love all the TKE guys here - we hang out down there all the time. There are also several girls in our house hooked up with guys from Delta Upsilon; a few are even engaged! Our college is kinda small, and we only have four fraternities (DU, TKE, LXA, ATO). What's it like for you all on other campuses?

Well, this is a pretty general question with many, many answers, but.....Where I was going to school, the boys of choice were from quite a few chapters - - Mostly Sigma Nu and Theta Xi, but there were also ATO, DGI, and ZBT guys that were boyfriends. Our Sigma Man for 2 years was a an ATO (Sam, Sam, the Sigma man!!).

Right now it's Theta Chi's & Delta Chi's.

When I was active it was mostly delta sigs and lambda chi's... there were some girls who dated sig eps and alpha sigs though...

I'm dating a Kappa Sig, but we have girsl dating Beta's, Farmhouse, Phi Kap's (Phi kappa sigma on our campus) and when I was a freshman, it always used to be Psi U's. (Our two houses have a lot of history, and a whole lot of marriges between us! But they shut themselves down about 3 years ago.)

Our neighbors are the Delt's, but we never seem to have any dating between the houses. Do your chapters ever date your neighbors?

at unlv we try to expand our horizons and hang out with everyone, but we know what fraternities we can depend on. We even had a sisterhood event where we were supposed to guess the top three. the list goes ....3aepi .....2pikes ..... 1kappasigs. aepi are just nice guys.... We have so much history with the pikes with marriages and dream girls and kappa sigs just recharted so a lot of the newer girls are into them. there was a shift of boys but i think variety is the spice of life;)

at IUP, my sorority loves the Sig Tau guys and thats who my boyfriend is. umm, Theta Chi's are hot, but we totally stay away from like Sig Pi and Acacia.

I'm dating a Kappa Sigma. The other girls in my chapter like the TKEs or Phi Sigma Kappas.

I am married to a Lambda Chi and there are 2 more Sigma Kappa Lambda Chi weddings coming up in the next year. My chapter was also known to date AEPis.

Any Sigma Kappas from Southwest Missouri State (now known as Missouri State)? Dawn W. was the president there before I graduated. She was a sweetie.

Haha, I know this is old, but I found this and had to answer....

I'm not sure about actually dating, but for our Christmas semiformal this year around 25 girls brought KDRs as dates!!!

When I was a senior, all of our members that had boyfriends had boyfriends who were either:

1. Zeta Psi
2. Sigma Nu
3. Not Greek

The only exception was a sister who was dating a Kappa Sig at W&M.

Sig Tau, ATO, some Sig Pi's too.

On our campus it was always Triangles, though there's much fewer now. We have a lot of PKA, SAE, Sig Ep, and Kappa Sigs mostly. I think there's a few TKE's too

I was seeing a Fiji for a while back in the day, but my fiance is unaffiliated. Most of the girls in my chapter are with non-Greeks, but there are girls dating guys in each of the fraternities. It seems like there have been a lot of girls dating or engaged to Pi Kaps, though.

When I was in school, it went in cycles. For a while a bunch of us were with Pikes and TKEs, then it was KAs and Alpha Sigma Phis. Our house was in the same block as the Pikes, though, so we ended up doing a lot with them, and I married the guy who always tended bar at their parties!

Ever since my pledge class did All-University SING with Sigma Pi in 2008, our chapter has always had a few girls dating SP's... It gets pretty annoying because while I have friends there, those guys are more gossipy than most girls I know and talk crap about Sigma Kappa sometimes. Not cool!
