anyone ever use like online personals or anything?

I think it's a decent method to meet people once you are older, divorced, single parent, etc. with fewer ways to meet people and when you feel too old for the bar scene.

In my opinion, college students are in an environment where they have access to more single people their own age, most of whom are focused on meeting a significant other, than any other demographic group and probably benefit more from meeting people in more conventional ways.

Honestly, I don't know how old you are, but I have the feeling that you're pretty young.

Maybe in looking to meet someone you should reflect on the impression that you give to others, and what your values are versus what you practice. Know who you are before you try to find someone, that way you will know what kind of person is right for you.

It's not my thing, although I have friends who have met their SO through online personals.

I have an aunt (who I dislike for other reasons) who always has a www.boyfriend. She doesn't use online dating as a supplement for having a real social life, like some of my friends who would do things like have friends and go out in addition to online personals. She's dependent on Black Planet for finding her next loverman--and that's when I think it goes too far.

Dude, they're all whores. You learn this the older you get. Its something chicks can't see or understand. They think we're being mean by thinking that about them. Usually, you just take your pick out of them all. In most cases it's whoever has the best sex with the least amount of issues. And even if the sex isnt that good you can always turn a girl out.

I don't know how old you are, but here's some advice; Problems happen. Usually a guy's problems don't start happeneing until he cuts loose the 4 or 5 girls he's banging on the side and actually settles down with just one. Its the one girl that brings all the problems. Things get complicated. Ever notice how well a guy is doing when he's got an ass load of b!tches chasing him? Picture that and then think of all the complaining you've heard from the guy who's got the one solid girlfriend/wife.

You need to understand that women chase dick. A man can't run fast enough when he's got pussy on his trail. Once you understand that then you can understand why I say they're all whores. The ones that say that isnt true, they're either that "one girl" in another mans life (in which case they've already got all the dick they want and don't chase after new shit) OR they're really young and don't know shit.

Well.... there was that one time that I cheated on my bf. And then before that my bf was cheating on me-so I put sugar in his gas tank. And then I guess you can count having an affair with a teacher in high school. Then getting him fired when he ended it. Oh and then I lied and made up all of this false info abotu me, so a guy would go out with me. But that was just fun. THen there was a time when my ex wouldnt' go back out with me. So I told everybody he had a small penis and that he was gay. Then last week I met a guy on the internet and flew out to meet him. Well, he lied about his looks. And no one, I repeat no one lies to UKDaisy :mad: . So I killed him.

I want you to stop and think about it for a minute. Clear your mind about all other assumptions of love and really think about this; Think about life. Life on earth. You have males and you have females. Instinctively, males try to reproduce as much as possible. Its all about doing it as much as you can at the cost of quality in some cases. In the animal kingdom, males don't look for the best quality female. This explains why, sometimes, you hear of/see hot males banging some nasty chick they picked up late night. Its instinctive for us to have a lot of sex, thats why we're not whores and never will be. You can't blame something for its instincts. And the only reason why a guy would cheat, if he's in a relationship, is because he's not getting what he needs from the female at hand. For females, its all about quality. In the entire animal kingdom the females instinctively want to mate with the strongest, baddest, hottest males out there. Hence the reason why I turn chicks on ;)

When it comes to humans, in this day of age, some rules are changed. In many cases money is a key factor. This is why you see scrony, shrimpy, ugly looking guys getting really hot women...thus making the women whores according to ZTAngel's definition. Inherently, women don't always want to have sex. If they did, it wouldnt be so hard for a guy to take a girl's virginity. Women become that sex craved thing only after being turned out by 1 or more guys in their sexual history.

Bottom line is, men can't be whores because its instinctive for us to sleep with several women and as often as we can. The older you get the less it happens. Its kind of like not blaming a tiger for killing a cow....it's going to happen if you put the two together. But, the older the tiger gets the less likely it is to happen. This is why you hear of older chicks saying men shouldnt get married/settle down until they're around the age of 30 or so....because he doesnt have as many skirts chasing him as he once did and there wont be as many problems. However, the older chicks get the MORE sex they want to have. Somewhere along the line men forget that women never stop being that sex crazed thing the man turned them in to. The women only get more and more freaky the older they get. Men, on the other hand, don't want sex as much when they get older....solidifing the theory that we cannot be whores. It proves that we cannot control things when we are younger and thus should not be held accountable for banging several chicks in our youth.
