okay - so i told my co-worker that this one girl in the office had a big booty. she is by no means fat. but, it accidentally slipped out and word got back to the big booty girl. she was not mad. i meant it as a compliment :p. do girls like it when people look and say things about their booty?

I wouldn't get mad, but it would make me feel uncomfortable knowing that my ass was up for discussion.

My ass isn't HUUUUUGE, but it's bigger than what it should be, and I get self conscious about it at times. Makes me want to cover up.

People, please don't post the lyrics from Sir Mix-A-Lot. Its too obvious to be funny.

There are certain types of girls who don't mind, but I do think the majority of them will associate "big booty" with "fat" even though that's not always the case. My little sister, who is tiny, thinks she has a big booty even though she doesn't, really, at all, and telling her she has a "ghetto booty" is one of the fastest ways to piss her off. With me, any comments about my "big booty," even when they were obviously joking about it, were a huge fuel to my eating disorder. Now clearly I was a screwed up girl so hopefully your buddy won't take it the way I did . . . but even so, let this be a lesson to all men that girls DO NOT take "big booty" comments as compliments, even though that is how they're often meant.

If someone said that I had a big booty, I would probably be insulted by it. Like S&S said, a lot of men will make comments like this without realizing that it can really affect girls with self-image problems.

I've always had a big booty, even when I was superduper skinny. I was a little self-concious about it in high school, but then I got to college and met guys who were interested in things other than boobs. :)

If you said I had a nice butt, that would be fine, but a big butt is pushing it.

I would be careful about saying stuff like that about or to a coworker. You don't want to get into trouble.

Honestly, if it were given as a compliment, I'd love it. My butt's the part of my body I like the most, so I would love to hear good things about it. My husband probably wouldn't be too happy hearing what other's think though. :)

i am very self conscious about my bottom. i have been told that i have a J Lo butt which i hate. :mad: i wish it was smaller.

I don't see the problem. I have a big booty my experiences from men have always been that they like my butt and prefer a nice sized one. but whatever.

Gee, that was touching Craig! ;) Anyways...guys at my work used to make fun of this girl for having "no butt." She was a really cute, nice girl, who was thin and petite, and she had pretty big boobs (no, they were not fake), but NO butt. She was kind of self conscious about it too.
Some girls have too much junk in the trunk, others not enough, and we all want the opposite of what we have!

My theme song is baby got back. No one has complained so far... like a lot of girls here, most realyl like it. Although I think I'd smack him if anyone did seriously say my ass was too big and I needed to do something about it.

Trust me, it's an affliction. I have that terrible affliction called "Swimmer Ass". Ever notice that a lot of female swimmers have flat behinds? Somehow the guys get nice tight ones, but girls...NOTHIN'.

When I was younger, I used to be self-conscious about my bubble butt, but as I got older I received more compliments on it than any other part of my body. LOL. It's all in a person's preference, I suppose!

i was always teased by family for having a big butt...

i am not fat, but i am puerto rican.. so all the JLO and butt comments always fly my way....

hispanic with curves is not always a plus.

you cant wear certain skirts cause the butt will come up and look UGLY... you cant wear tight fitting dresses b/c ur butt will look a million times bigger..

I have a nice butt and I like being complimented on it. I used to work out a lot in HS and ever since it is nice and tight.... that is what my boyfriend says at least.
