Thanks for the info! Nomrally we depend on sisters at the school or know someone at different chapters to post the information (unless it happens to be on a chapter website or something like that!) We definitely want to include ALL our chapters on this list! :)

ADPiZXalum 01-06-2005 03:04 PM

I'm pretty sure Baylor started formal recruitment this morning. Today should be philantrhopy day, tomorrow skit day, and Friday pref day. I will let you all know how they did...........

skerbow 01-06-2005 03:04 PM

Does anyone know how Baylor's recruitment is going? Please pm me what you know. I know they are doing it this week and tomorrow should be Pref, with Saturday being Bid day. I had forgotten or I would be there with bells on! Heck I'm going to be in the area, let me know if they need any additional help too.

ADPiZXalum 01-06-2005 03:06 PM

WHOA Sherra, that was WEIRD!! We posted those at the same time!!! I will find out how they are doing and let you know!!!! I heard 80 women from other chapters went to help with fall parties. How aweesome is that?!

Edited because i'm a moron and can't talk!

skerbow 01-06-2005 03:07 PM

well we raised campus total from 75 to 85 and we had 82 girls last semester.. and i'd say we're returning with 60-70. should be fun and interesting. last spring we had about 3 COR events each week for about two months, and it was really draining, so i'm really excited that we're doing something more structured, plus i think it'll be more special for the spring girls to get a pref night and bid day like the fall girls did.

skerbow 01-10-2005 12:01 PM

Lyrica, we had a structured recruitment when I went through Spring of 98. It was great! Not to mention, we were on of the only sororities on campus to do that for their spring COB girls. We felt special and didn't have to wait until the following year to truly experience a formal recruitment, even if it was a little smaller.

GO BAYLOR!!!! 50 Women at pref is awesome!!!! What are the final results?? How many new sisters do we have?????

ADPiZXalum 01-10-2005 12:09 PM

Sherra, I pmed you..........

Sounds good so far!!! Please be a doll and let us know the results!!!

vandy_violet 01-16-2005 05:56 PM

Now I get to brag...

After first round, our return was 80%. Then again, 80%. Then 74% for Entertainment (Skit) Round. We had 180-something girls for Pref, and out of those, 59 put us as their top house....
and our pledge class, the largest on campus, has.....

49 ALPHAS!!!

Quota was 45, but we have had quota plus the last two years because my pledge class three years ago was very small.

honeychile 01-16-2005 09:16 PM

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Vandy!!! Please, please tell your chapter that we all send our congratulations!!

texas*princess 01-16-2005 11:37 PM

CONGRATULATIONS to you & your chapter VANDY_VIOLET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HBADPi 01-18-2005 01:51 AM

Allegheny's formal recruitment started today so keep your fingers crossed for the ladies of eta beta. If I'm not mistaken, bid day will be on the 23rd. I'll let you know once I hear something. :D

honeychile 01-18-2005 09:21 PM

Congratulations to Miami of Ohio, which I saw in the Rush Forum made Quota - AND best sorority GPA!!

ADPiQTMel, isn't that your chapter? Congratulations!!

texas*princess 01-18-2005 11:07 PM

Woohoo!!! Violets to Miami of Ohio!

HBADPi 01-22-2005 03:59 PM

Eta Beta got 13 new girls today! Yay for them!

violets 01-26-2005 02:13 PM

Congrats to Rho!

Just thought I'd add that Rho Chapter, Boston University welcomed 31 new Alphas (quota +) this week.
Hoping someone knows the Gamma Pi, Wagner College results...
I'm sure they did beautifully.

honeychile 01-26-2005 02:25 PM

Alpha Iota took 7 Alphas in Informal/Spring Recruitment! I don't know any more about it, but I'll post when I hear!

polarpi 01-27-2005 12:27 AM

Not results, but a recruitment update...

I just got back from helping Zeta Pi with their first round of recruitment today - they all did a spectacular job! Most of the parties had 38 girls, but they did have one party of 54 girls - and even when the day was over, they STILL had all their energy and enthusiasm for recruitment. I'm SO proud of these sisters! :)

lyrica9 02-02-2005 06:13 PM

ok we changed our recruitment week, so we start tonight! a few other sororities have already done their recruitment, and i'm really excited we'll have an alpha class soon too!

i'll let you know on saturday how many new alphas GU has.

texas*princess 02-02-2005 06:32 PM

Go GU!

lonestaradpi 02-02-2005 09:45 PM

Sorry this is a bit late... I've been so busy! Southwestern University, Zeta, took quote of 20 women plus 3 upper classmen. This takes the chapter to 68, the largest on campus. Go SU!

EXiADPi 02-05-2005 12:14 AM

NAU (Epsilon Xi) has 3 Alphas I will update as the week goes

lyrica9 02-05-2005 06:15 AM

so yeah its 4am and not quite bidday yet, but we already gave out our bids, and we have 13 new alphas!!! and i'm getting my first little diamond sister!!! she's really sweet, and she's a fourth generation adpi.

we start CORing next week, should be fun.

polarpi 02-05-2005 11:00 AM

Congrats, lyrica, and Gamma Upsilon chapter!
