So I watching the Smokey Robinson Special on BET and the Phirst group out to do the dedication is Boyz II Men. Ummm Wanya was wearing a jacket with the Coat of Arms of Alpha on it. Ummmmm when did he become Frat? Hit me up and let me know

Boyz II Men received honorary doctorate degrees in music from Drexel University almost 10 years ago. I read about it in Jet.

Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men definitely became a member of Omega Psi Phi during a special intake at Tau Tau Chapter in Compton California on January 3, 1999 along with Steve Harvey that same day (source: Oracle, Spring 1999).

Yes, Wanya and all the other members of Boyz II Men attended college - Temple University.

BET is airing the Smokey Robinson Walk of Fame Tuesday at 9:00. I will take a look to see if he is really wearing an Alpha coat of arms.

I saw Boyz II Men on the BET Special a few minutes ago.

The symbol on Wanya's jacket seems a little different from an Alpha symbol.

WOW!!! I was thinking the same thing!!

Steve Harvey was on line at Kent State University in the 1970's, but never completed the process.

Steve Harvey and Wanya Morris became members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity on 1/3/1999 at Tau Tau Chapter.

I specifically did an online search about this subject because I too watched the Smokey Robinson tribute the other night and I really thought Wanya had on the frat coat of arms.

I am a little amazed that my Frat whom we had to study the coat of arms as part of our process have all said it is that and everyone else is like no it is something else. Sorry that would like me seeing an Omega Shield and telling an Omega no it's not your shield. Only thing I need is a close up shot ;) And when I get it the Para police is coming out! LOL

OK 2 sorors and a Zeta asked me today if Wanya was an Alpha cause they were watching the special. Whats up with that???? LOL!

All I know, is it looked like the crest.

They are showing the special on November 19th.

I will tape it this time and look at it again.

I will see if it is an Alpha Coat of Arms or if it is just a fancy design on his jacket.

Wow! I know a gang of Bruhs from Tau tau and see them in the photos. That's a trip! Joe Torey is in a few but he pledged collegiate for sure. Maybe he is in the Chapter. They are definitely a chapter to be reckoned with in Southern Cal. Very, very active with good representation.

Joe Torre became a Que at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. I went to school thirty miles away from Lincoln and I frequently hung out on their campus. One thing I remember about Joe Torre is that he and his Que brothers were ALWAYS starting fights and he was ALWAYS crackin on somebody.
