I just LOVE how she blamed her band... Supposedly she's going to be on one of those early morning national talk shows tomorrow to try to do some damage control.

I've read all kinds of different things about how it was the drummer's fault or whatever. Umm... last I checked, drummers play the drums.. not audio clips :D

1) REAL artists KNOW what to do in case that Murphy's Law creeps up, not just throw a hoe-down and then blame everyone but themselves.

What seems so stupid is the fact that she blamed the band in the first place.

It wasn't the bands fault that SNL cued up the wrong music.

Yes, they started playing along but they probably assumed that for some insane reason that she was doing the same song again.

But I mean come on, GROW UP!!!!!

Instead of dancing around like a complete MORON why didn't she just make a signal to cut the band off and say "this isn't the right background music".

But then again it just proved that Ashlee was going to pull a "Milli Vinilli" didn't it?

I wonder who told her to say that though. Her parents are prolly having migraines since then. Did anyone see the Radio Music Awards? I think she was on that.

I saw a clip of it, she made a joke about the SNL thing, and then sang the song she was supposed to sing on SNL that got messed up.

She sounded decent during her RMA performance. She usually sounds awful live so I was impressed that her voice wasn't cracking the whole time. Still, I don't think anything she does can salvage her career. Everyone knows about the SNL screw-up and her lame excuse.

i don't understand who buys her music in the first place. it's not original and her voice is just not that of her sister's.

you gotta be able to keep up if you're gonna play in the big leagues and she just can't. as awful as it sounds, i'm so glad this happened.

60 minutes has a story on this....i don't know if it's tonite or tomorrow....can't remember what nite it's on......

She's on Jay Leno right now. She didnt sound too horribly bad. And she's actually singing. :eek:

I think I read somewhere that Ashlee is actually talented. Wasn't she like the youngest person ever to be accepted to some famous ballet school? or something?
