So, here's my question:

Q: What is the one beauty product or cosmetic that you could not live without?

A: I don't think I could ever live without mousse for my hair. I like wearing it down and the only way I can do that is using mousse. It's naturally curly. :-)

Okay, my question.

Q: If there was one culture (other than your own) that you could experience, what would it be and why?

Right now I would have to say going to either China or Micronesia because two of my closest A Phi freinds BOTH moved to those countries this summer!

Favorite movie to watch on a rainy day?

A: Some Like It Hot - you can't beat Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe!


Q: If you were an animal, what kind would you be, and why?

A. Lioness. She is gentle, protective but fierce when she needs to be!

Q. Where is your favorite vacation spot?

My favorite vacation spot is some place warm and sunny WITHOUT the kids...Hawaii is #1 the wonderful floral smells and warm trade winds and of course a secluded beach!

Ok my question:
What is your favorite comfort food on a cold winters night?

My grandma's recipe for vegetable soup is the best on cold winter nights - it cheers me up as it warms me up. :)

What's the one TV show you just have to see?

Recently "deseprate housewives" but i am a diehard West Wing fan and will TiVo it every wednesday night and will watch reruns of it on Bravo.

Do you believe in ghosts and have you ever had a supernatural experience?

A: I don't believe in ghosts (or maybe just don't want to) but our sorority house is supposedly haunted.
Last Summer, everyone moved out of the house and their keys were taken and the locks were changed. Absolutely no one could get into the house. A cleaning lady came to clean the house with her four year old daughter, and was the first one to have a key to the new lock. As she was cleaning, her daughter ran to her screaming. She took her mother into the bathroom and showed her that there was vomit in every sink. No one could have gotten in and it definitely wasn't left there from the end of the school year.
Other weird things happen in the house all of the time. Supposedly a girl died in our bathroom years back, but on one knows if that is actually true or not. A lot of the girls claim that Martha Footecrow haunts our house.

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have one item with you, what would that item be and why?

A: A large box of matches, b/c I definitely would not have the patience to "make fire" any other way. :D


Q: What public woman of today is the best role model for collegiate women?

I got this one!....LAURA BUSH!

Why?...because she is SO GRACIOUS in the way she carries herself. She is bright, compassionate, caring, supportive, forgiving, kind-hearted and always takes the high road, conducting herself in a gentle manner that is above reproach.

Question: What is your favorite episode of Friends?:)

I really like the episode in London when Monica and Chandler get together. Also, the episode where Chandler discovers how much he likes a relaxing bath -- that was pretty good too.

Q: Staying on the lighter side, what is the one junk food you know you shouldn't eat, but can't resist?

MEAN GIRLS! (love it and am driving my husband nuts because I swear I've watched it ten times in the last month!)

My question: What was your most embarrassing moment?

I had to answer my favorite Friends episode! Its the "she's his lobster" episode. When Rachel and Ross get together. (or is it back together)

My most embarrassing moment was when I was way back in the day....flashback to my college days! I was at my first fraternity party! Having a superfun time! Dancing, laughing, woohoooooo! And out of nowhere this Senior (one of my sisters) taps me on the shoulder to do the old "okay, you've had enough now" maneuver....which would have been okie dokie...except that I was STONE COLD SOBER! Yep....how's that for embarrassing???....being told to cut down on your alcohol intake when you haven't had ANYTHING to drink! OOPSIE!:D

What is your favorite line from a John Hughes film?...any of 'em....

oh and makeup which is rare for me because i never buy makeup....and this time i got nice stuff

A: This is tough. I think it's my bed. I get so few hours of sleep, they have to be good ones.

I have to say CNN. When I lived in DC, I read the paper daily (damn, I miss my Washington Post!). Now I watch CNN or read the news on the internet

Basketball, OSU!

If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be and why?

I too would be a lion, I love being a Leo.


Who is your favorite Desperate Housewives character and why?

I LOVE Bree. Underneath it all, she's far from perfect and very vulnerable but strong. She cracks me up every week. My LJ icon is her for the time being, saying "Don't mistake my anal retentiveness for actual affection!"

Whitesnake because of the "Here I go again" song (I don't know the actual name). The video was what did it, it was so risque, at least to an 8 year old.

Metallica -Enter Sandman . I technically didn't download it,my nephew made me a cd.Does that count?

I'm not an Alpha Phi but I was visiting the site & couldn't help but like the thread so I hope you guys don't mind me answering.

I watch 3 shows with religious fervor:

*American Idol

Do you prefer cakes or pies & why? (I heard this argument on a radio morning show a few days ago & it is stuck in my head for some obscure reason)

Welcome Bette! I think I like pies better, especially with a cup of coffee. My faves are Apple and Pecan

I like my food processor. I love it for grating cheese and chopping onions

Dream Car is a black Porsche 911. I've wanted one ever since I was 10 & saw the Black Porsche club out for a drive w/their beautiful Porsche's.

Hmmm. I would have to say June 1999, our first trip to Las Vegas. Mr. 1228 and I fell in love with the city. 2 weeks after we got back, we booked our next trip. Fast forward to 2000:
We got engaged in Feb 2000 and when we were planning our wedding, we looked at each other and said "VEGAS!"

Next Favorite Trip: December 7-14, 2001. We were married at 6PM on December 11, 2001

What do you prefer, Beach or Mountains?

BEACH!!!!

My beagle, Shelby! Not only is she the world's sweetest and cutest dog, but I met my husband because of her!
