What is your favorite dog breed??

I like mutts really, but if I was going to buy a purebred dog, I'd want a setter of some sort. I like Irish and Gordons, but my favorite of all time is the noble English setter:

Labrador retriver or German shorthaired pointer

Most of the best dogs that I've ever known have been mutts, but Cairn Terriers have a special place in my heart.

Those Cairn terriers are precious! I've got a Beagle right now and she's made life interesting...she's stubborn and all nose, but awfully cute. However, you just can't beat a lovable mutt.

We have one who's half Cairn Terrier and half dachshund! And our other one--and my favorite kind of purebreed--is the Shih Tzu.

I loooove Golden Retrievers. They are so beautiful and so good natured!

Siberian Huskies are the best, although unfortunately they're not good with cats. Someday I want to have a dog again, but I'd get one from a shelter and not a breeder. In terms of having a dog, it's really the dog's personality that matters to me, not what he or she looks like. They're really all cute.

Awww.. That Husky is so cute! My bf wants one of those. I want a chihuahua, pomeranian, maltese poodle, or a pug. But I heard that the pug's eyes can pop out or small dog's throats can collapse or something.

Im looking for a puppy. I find out next week if my breeders dog is pregnant. I'm probably going to get a Bearded Collie but I also like Bernese Mountain Dogs, Vizslas and Belgian Tervurans.

I am extremely partial to chihuahuas and cocker spaniels. I am getting a chihuahua next week from a breeder who's a friend of my mom's and I am soooooo excited! And we have two black cocker spaniels at my home in Omaha. I really love most any dog as long as they're not big, small and medium size dogs are all cute to me. :D

I love big dogs. We have a boxer, a black lab, and 2 Jack Russell Terriers. The Boxer is my baby. I love him. I'd like to have another dog though.

My horse kicked the shit out of my dog yesterday.

I love Cocker Spaniels! My parents' 12 year old male (buff) Cocker is staying at my apartment while they are away. It's been different with him here, though....

Sidney the boxer is very stupid. He attacks rocks. He eats horse shit. He goes into the horse stalls and gets behind the horse and barks. The horse kicks the shit out of him. Then he goes attacks rocks.

You should get a camcorder, film this, and post it on the web. Sounds like funny stuff.

I am so in love with Puganese dogs. They're a mix of Pug and Pekingese. We know someone who breeds them, and every dog I've ever seen of hers is the most well-mannered, sweetest dog. Next time she has a litter, we're definitely buying one.

Nothing can beat a good ol' Mutt, though :)

I have a Rottweiler, 2 Pugs, and a Lab/Husky mix. Those are my favorite breeds/mixes.

As far as other breeds, I definitely have some breeds I HATE. I groom dogs for my mother's business to put myself through school.
There are some breeds that perpetually have behavior problems. And, they aren't pits, rotties, huskies, boxers, chows, etc. They are usually stupid cocker spaniels and many of the small breeds.

Cockers are just dumb for the most part (in my experience). They can't be trusted. Almost any groomer will tell you they HATE to groom cockers.

The little dogs just bite out of extreme fear and anxiety from being groomed. And, they don't really do much damage when they nip.

I never liked dogs that much, then my brother & his wife got one of the sweetest Dobermans on four paws. Unfortunately, Caleb died young. They have two other Dobies, but the one's sick and the other is plain mean.

My mother got a Bichon Frise, and while they're not the brightest breed (we say that my mama had a choice between smart and cute, and boy, is her dog CUTE!), they are so loving & joyful!! This is one of Buffy's puppies:

English Mastiffs!! We've had two and they are great dogs!

My current doggie obsession is the Boston Terrier. We hope to add one to our family in the not too distant future.

I saw the TINIEST chihuahua today. It was no more than 6 inches tall and maybe 8 inches long. It was just trotting along. hehe

Yay for Bostons!

We have a 1 1/2 year old Boston named Baxter who runs (and destroys) the house. He's a pain sometimes, as Bostons are extremely intelligent, and extremely stubborn, but I adore him.

Because, chances are, they weren't drunk when they replied 35 times.

I am continually in awe of the sweet, cuddly nature of my Alaskan Malamute, as well as her regal beauty. She is wonderful with kids, loves other animals (although they are sometimes afraid of her) and she is smart enough, that if she HAS to go in the house, she gets a towel from the bathroom or kitchen and goes on that. I love this girl!

I love my Rat Terrier. He's so cute, sweet, and intelligent. They're quick little dogs and they're hyper so they need an owner that's prepared to deal with that!

I also like Boxers. They're sweet but they'll also do anything to protect their owners.

Well I think most of you already know that I heart my pugalywugaly LOL.

I also saw the cutest Boston Terrier last night dressed as a bat at a Halloween party I went to.
