DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME, but I love this show! The new season starts this week, I guess. We just had an advertisement on our Armed Forces Network. I watched last season and loved it. They've got some really beautiful girls, we'll see what they have to do this time!

We'll have to see how good this cast is, but the first episode was definitely drama packed!

I absolutely LOVE that show! This should be an interesting season with all the drama that has already been happening.

This show is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! Do any of you have a favorite yet? I think Eva is absolutely stunning and I also like Ann (she's pretty plus she's from my home state).

That bar fight was hilarious! "She poured beer on my weave!!!" :eek:

OH BOY! I love this show. I missed the first episode though. :(

But I'm confused, why did Tyra bring in Eva when she said she's not casting the "Black bitch," but she lets her in anyway? Did someone above her tell her to do that? Because from what I can tell she's only furthering that image. :confused:

I don't get to see it until Wednesday! :(

YEAH!!! I got to see it today. I'm really excited about the women that they picked! I'm so glad she brought back 'Mr. Jay' and 'Ms. J', they are great! Was anyone else scared by that REALLY skinny girl? She looked really frail.

Early favorites?

Julie is gorgeous! Toccara is beautiful, but a little too...uh...buxom. She has a great attitude and should be fun to watch. Norelle reminds me of Twiggy with those eyelashes. I'm anxious to see how they all clean-up. I hope they have the hair change thing like last time. There's gonna be a lot of drama for that...these girls have a lot of hair!

I'm not saying that it isn't possible that she's naturally thin. I'm "5'7" and throughout high school, I weighed in at only 98 to 100 pounds. Believe me, I ate more than most guys I knew but I just couldn't seem to put on pounds until I got to college.
This girl was almost 6 feet tall and she weighed 110 pounds. That's really, really, really underweight. She just looked like she was sick.
Then again, I thought it was funny how Tyra & Co. were talking about how they couldn't put a girl who is that thin into the competition but every single girl, except for Toccara, could be classified as underweight!
Leah is my favorite so far.

When Tyra brought in Eva, she confronted her on how many of the other contestants were hurt by the things Eva had said to/about them. Tyra told Eva that she didn't want to have "another Black b----", and I'm assuming she was referring to Camille from last season (don't know if you watched then?).

Then Tyra went all amateur psychiatrist on poor Eva and reduced her to tears so I guess Tyra thought maybe she got through to her and chose her to be a finalist.

And if Eva reverts to b----iness, Tyra probably figures it'll make for good drama! :

I was a little surprised Leah was the one axed.

I am also surprised by how not-put-together some of the girls look, but then their photos turn out so beautiful.

I don't have a favorite anymore now that Leah is gone. :(

Well, we're a week behind...so I just saw Leah and Magdalena get the boot. I'm so glad they're getting there hair cut! I saw Amanda's, and I was hoping they'd go REALLY short on her. She reminds me of Annie Lennox!

Other thoughts...

Ann is SCARY!

I still love Julie, Yaya and Jennipher! But, I think that Nicole might be the dark horse in this race!

Magdalena shouldn't have been cut for that photo. She looked good! Honestly, I think Ann should have gotten the boot.

Oh, I forgot! When they were 'reviewing' Leah, I was SO glad they took her damn hair down! That big headed pony tail crap was REALLY getting old!

I just got done reading the TWoP reviews for the past episodes and I was cracking up. They say everything you're thinking but don't want say out loud. :)

It's on here right now. I think Amanda's hair makes her look like a total porn star...not that I watch a lot of porn. LOL! Jennipher is starting to resemble Jessica Biel to me. Eva, Yaya and Nicole's hair looks awesome! Ann and Norelle are just blah to me.

I'm sad that Julie is gone, but her attitude did suck. Oh Well! And, what is TWoP?

That recap made me laugh very very hard. I loved it.

It's so funny - my bf walked in half way through the episode and was like "wtf is that girl [Amanda] on? she looks like CRAP!!"

Now I got to see the first episode (at least I think it was). It was the one where Amanda admitted to the group that she is going blind. First off, I thought she was gorgeous. She would make a great print model (obviously with her going blind I don't think runway would work much for her). She has this amazing face and eyes.

Now because I haven't watched it like two weeks, I'm not sure what happened with the makeovers.

I guess I need to start watching it again :)

For some reason, I like Amanda less and less every week. I was glad Kristi got the boot, and I have mixed feelings about Jennipher and her booty display.

NORELLE ANNOYS THE CRAP OUT OF ME. I don't really know who my favorites are. I still think Nicole will be around for awhile, and Ann too...although she's kind of annoying she does really well. Toccara looks great and is kicking major butt! But, we know she won't win, Janice won't let her.

Oh, and seeing Yoanna was...well...it was scary. She looked awful!

I feel that I must also come clean with my little crush on Nigel. He is so hot.

I love how on last night's episode when all the girls were like, "She looks beautiful as always" when Janice came walking into the work out room. If looking cracked out is beautiful, then sure......
She is the poster child for why you should never get too much plastic surgery. She doesn't even look human anymore.

I was watching ANTM with my daughters and when Toccara was crying to Tyra, my younger one looked up at me and said, "Why is that pretty lady crying?". I was mentally giving myself a pat on the back for raising such a empathetic child when she continued, "Is it because her boobies are too big?" :eek:

I feel so sorry for Kelle because it seems like all the judges hate her. It's like they're only keeping her around so they can pick on her.

Amanda has freaky eyes; they give me the willies.

I want to dye my hair the same color as Nicole; but it probably wouldn't look as good on me.

You know, I look at the photos and I honestly can't tell which is a "good" one and which is a "bad" one. I think the judges are all full of isht! :D

I can't tell either. The judges were oohing and aahing over Nicole's picture but I personally thought her pose made her look like she had to pee really bad and was trying to hold it in.

I know y'all had a a new episode last night...which looks pretty juicy from the previews I saw yesterday...but they finally booted JenniPHer. She was cute, but her attitude sucked!

My husband loved Ann, because she looks like Gabrielle Reece. :rolleyes: I still think Nicole is the dark horse. I wish they would get rid of Amanda. She's been very low key lately, but she just irks me. I did think it was hilarious them bleeping out Toccarra's booty during the skating thing!

Off the episode, I was really curious about how much Tyra weighs. I looked up some websites and they say 122. That just doesn't seem possible to me. She's 5'11", has boobs, and butt. If she were 122, wouldn't she just look anorexic? Just something I was thinking about after getting my new Victoria's Secret Catalog!

I was cracking up when Amanda tripped Kelle with her walking cane. Such a brief moment that had me laughing my butt off.

I really take those model weights with a grain of salt. Same with when I hear actresses' weights. I am 5'3 and when I was in college I weighed 115 lbs and was a 34C (TMI, right? My apologies! :) ) and I was thin.
