Hi everyone!

I'm hoping someone will know how to help...

I'm looking for a company that sells dangles for our badges/chapter guards...does anyone have any recommendations?

I am currently the President of my Alumnae chapter and thought for the holidays I would give my board dangles as a gift of appreciation...I just couldn't find any sites that had them...

Masters of Design is the only one I know of.

They have a pretty wide selection.

There are other companies out there, such as AlphaGold and I think Greek101 that will sell you the dangles and the chapter guards, but some places you have to watch out b/c they're a bit pricer and they don't look as good as the ones fom MOD. I like ordering from MOD b/c I know it's going to be good quality, and they have a lifetime guarantee. My clasp fell off of my badge (eek!) and I sent it back to be fixed, free of charge. :D

Alpha Delta Pi has our own set of dangles - maybe you should check to see if your GLOs do, too. We have some "ADPi specific" dangles (ie: 150th anniversary), and you might have some similar ones.

Plus, why not give your HQ the money rather than Masters of Design or such - if you can?

I agree. For Alpha Xi, we can't purchase dangles through our HQ. But I think that since MOD is a sponsored/licensed vendor, every purchase we make through them, a % goes back to AZD. So that's something else to check into.

I have already contacted my HQ, but I haven't gotten a response as of yet...so I was looking for a back-up plan in case I don't hear anything from them....

Whatever company makes your badge (for D Phi E, masters of design), that's where we get our dangles. And in our licensing agreement with them, we get a %, so if you've got that, no need to go through HQs.

Thank you ... I went to the site though and there was nothing about dangles...I ordered their catalog so I'm hoping that they'll have dangles included?!

That's extremely frustrating! I am sure they are able to do dangles since they do them for us and several other organizations (if you go to their main webpage you can go to any GLO they work with). In fact, they appear to be able to do one for every office imaginable based on the flyer I saw at Convention a few years ago, as well as doing more general ones. Hopefully your HQ will have some advice, since I'm sure this has been an issue before. Alternatively, you might call up BPA and ask them about availability. (800)422-4348 or (765)552-7366 Just so you know, they are located in Illinois, and most orders I've ever seen done with them take 6-8 weeks.
