Olive Garden biotch!

Hey you mooks!

what is a mook anyways? anyways. Make sure you jerkfaces go to Olive Garden man. NEVER ENDING pasta for 7.95! Hubba hubba....momma mia!

So men, take your girlfriends out. Or wives. Ok sorry I won't be sexist too. Lesbians, take your girlfriends or wives out to olive garden

Eat like Kings and Queens. Feast like beast and tip the waiter or you will get arrested!

ZTAMich 09-16-2004 08:42 PM

i heart you bobby.

haven't been to the OG in forever. might just have to go for lunch tomorrow....

Unregistered- 09-16-2004 08:54 PM

Whenever I'm visiting the mainland, people will always ask me where I want to go eat, and I'll demand that they take me to an Olive Garden.

I'm a sucker for pasta fagioli soup.

Screw you all who have OG. We're not privileged enough to have em here in Hawai`i.

The1calledTKE 09-16-2004 08:58 PM

I ate there 3 times this week. No more for a bit please.

Sister Havana 09-16-2004 11:52 PM

I loooove their pasta e fagioli. :D

CatStarESP4 09-17-2004 01:24 AM

My Olive Gardent favorites are Ravioli Di Portobella, Chocolate Lasagne and Tiramisu!

lifesaver 09-17-2004 06:38 AM

I havent eaten at an OG in probably 5 years.

Why would I when theres a Carrabba's right down the street. Yeah, its a bit more expensive, but ya get what ya pay for.

winneythepooh7 09-17-2004 07:16 AM

The only thing I would maybe get there is the salad and breadsticks. Why eat at Olive Garden with all the great Italian in New York anyways? The Olive Garden is only for the tourists in Times Sq. anyways..............Which reminds me, it is San Gennarro this week!!!!!!

mmcat 09-17-2004 07:32 AM

salad and breadsticks at a minimum, lasagna or never ending pasta if i'm real hungry.
good stuff.
and yes, we also have italian food restaurants in el paso. but olive garden is good.

ZTAngel 09-17-2004 08:29 AM

Their salads are the best. Mmmmmmm. My favorite is their cheese ravioli. I'm craving it now.

DolphinChicaDDD 09-17-2004 10:48 AM

Ahhh, OG's never-ending pasta bowl. Back in the day when I was a real competetive runner, our entire Cross Country team would go and sit down. We had set guidlines as to how you could be entered in the eating contest (I think you need to have one bowl of salad and 2 breadsticks). The key was to start with something light, like zita and marinara sause.

On the other side, please tip your waiter/waitress very nicely. I have friends who cry when its never ending pasta bowl time because the check comes out really cheap, so no one tips well, even though sometimes people eat 3-4 bowls of pasta.

valkyrie 09-17-2004 11:03 AM

I'm not a fan of their pasta, but the salad is SO GOOD.

BobbyTheDon 09-17-2004 12:32 PM

all you jerks hating on OG because you are too cool for school or because there are lots of italians or whatever must LEAVE this thread NOW!

Corporate chain restaurants are for Republicans.

I'll stick with my locally owned Italian restaurant where I know my money stays in my community.

Corporate Chain: Olive Garden is owned by Darden
Yes, I will deny good food and keep money in my community than give money to a chain and have it go to Orlando, Florida.
What's wrong with Republicans? well, instead of giving all of what's wrong, I'll stick to one short aspect of republicans: they're in bed with major corporations.
Prejudice? If keeping money in my community instead of giving it to some corporate fatcat to give a donation to Bush & Co. (number 3 on givings, number 12 on appointees) makes me prejudiced, then yes, yes I am.

MeezDiscreet 09-17-2004 02:00 PM

olive garden has no flavor. it tastes like someone opened a can of pasta and poured on a plate. BUT, they have excellent sangria!!!!

So do all Democrats rob neighborhoods and poor people?

Your dad liked it last time.

Hey your boyfriend doesn't like Republicans because he's a Democrat and likes to steal money from the little people. What's up with that?

SO AGREE!!!!
I've never been that impressed with their food.

Peaches-n-Cream 09-17-2004 04:52 PM

I went there once. I nicknamed it the Hair Garden since they served my food with an extra special garnish of hair. Never again!

I like Outback.

Times Square is not the only NYC location. There's one in Chelsea around 6th Ave (never ever to be called Ave of the Americas by this NYers) and 23rd. Less of a wait too and not so many tourists.

Olive Garden in Allentown, PA served me my first LEGAL adult beverage :)

So true... And no New Yorker ever calls the Queensboro Bridge by that name... it's the 59th Street bridge! :D

Dood, all politicians are in bed with politicians. So who cares what Darden does. Hell, lifesaver loves some NAFTA. Alot of that cash and alot of those goods come right through here.

BTW: I feel sorry for people who think Red Slobster (another Darden restauraunt) is good seafood. It rocks to live 75 minutes from the coast and can get fresh seafood all the time.

BobbyTheDon 09-17-2004 08:14 PM

I am going to beat all of you people up who dare hate Olive Garden.

Be GONE now!

UKDaisy 09-17-2004 08:56 PM

I heart Olive Garden. Between their breadsticks, salad, pasta and those darlin' lil' Ande's Mints.......I'm in heaven.

Better than Olive Garden, and owned by one of the most influential gay couples in the Ames/ISU area.

Thanks we really want to read about a crappy Italian food place in Iowa. I bet the Italian food there is to die for. And really it's owned by gays?? That changes everything. I need to eat there. Influential gays you say? Like those 2 guys in vegas with the tigers?? OK!

Peaches-n-Cream 09-18-2004 01:57 PM

San Genaro Feast is today. Too bad there is rain. :( I could really go for some Italian food.
