Cool!!!!

I went out and got if from Walmart yesterday. It's really cool, but it will take some time to get aquainted with all the new features. I will definately be addicted to it by the end of the weekend.

Is anyone else having problems playing? It runs incredibly slow on my pc.:( What am I to do...

RedRoseSAI 10-05-2004 07:18 PM

I recently upgraded my memory and it's perfect now. How much memory do you have?

Munchkin03 10-05-2004 07:24 PM

Waiting for it to become available for the PowerBaby...

pinkflamingo 10-05-2004 07:27 PM

I LOVE THE SIMS! But, alas, I have a Mac. I'll have to wait awhile.

Dionysus 10-07-2004 01:42 PM

I'm waiting for it to come out on PS2, I know my computer probably would not handle this game...

Kevin 10-07-2004 02:18 PM

It came out today?

I've had it 2 days now. Haven't installed it yet though. Got it for the gf.

She's been browsing sims 2 websites now for awhile.

TheEpitome1920 10-07-2004 02:54 PM

No it's been out for a while.

I updated my graphics driver and it runs a lot better now.

lovelyivy84 10-07-2004 03:42 PM

I upgraded my memory and graphics card for this game. I WISH that there were more objects and wallpapers, etc. but the gameplay is GREAT. I love all the new interactions.

TheEpitome1920 10-07-2004 04:01 PM

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. But how come one of my Sims is pregnant and we don't know who the father is?? May have to take her on Maury.

My 10 year old daughter is dying to get this for Christmas. My question is.. is it appropriate for her age? Any opinions are welcome...

It's Mortimer. But he's not showing up on the family tree. I was able to go back in the memory section and he was the last person she had sex with.

I agree. I think the older ones are a lot better for younger kids. Like Unleashed, Superstar, House Party, etc. But Sims 2 is definitely for older teens and up.

Sims Junky

This game is so cool. I have this old couple who is always wanting to "Woo Hoo" in the hot tub. I'm gonna die if Granny shows up pregnant. I have this other couple who are always making out, but I can't seem to get them to "Woo Hoo" so that she can get pregnant. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a kid into private school? The headmaster will show up, but he never stick around long.

The couple must be in love before they'll 'woo-hoo' if I'm not mistaken...so I guess that means a lot of making out and flirting with one another, lol.

I had my first visit from the headmaster and he said my kids weren't good enough. BASTARD! But it seems that you have to show him around the house, feed him and schmooze with him. I think that means make sure you house has pricey furniture and buy a buffet table cuz that's easier than cooking something. Good luck!

ok i got into private school.. and i had one of the daughters and the dad waiting at the curb when the headmaster showed up. then i had the daughter give a tour and shmooze like crazy. all the while i had mom cooking pork chops because she has the highest cooking level (she used to be on the culinary track).

let him do what he wants and talk to him a lot. we got a low house tour rating but high shmooze and food points. oh, and the man loves his pinball.

on the woo-hooing, i dont think the elderly people can get pregnant.

I know an elderly man can get a younger woman pregnant. Not sure about 2 elderly people.
