Chapters Good News
Congratulations to Gamma Epsilon for getting (AGAIN) the top Greek grades on campus!!!!!
They got a 3.34 for Spring 2004. Panhellenic Average was a 3.32 and All Women's Average was a 3.26. And all the sororities beat out the fraternities in grades. :D :D :D :D |
Yeah for EA!!!
Just wanted to let you know that the Epsilon Alpha Chapter at La Salle got 9 amazing new members during informal recruitment! this was quite exciting considering last springs formal new member class was 6. We are all so excitied !!!:D

Gamma Omega chapter has 10 new members, the most of any sorority on campus. I've met all the new girls and they are fabulous and I'm so proud to call them my sisters - and so proud of my chapter!
Yay to all our chapters who are doing great things. :) |
Yeah to both chapters. Gamma Epsilon has so far gotten 9 women in COR (formal is in Jan) and that is wonderful for them!

(and you totally should come visit) |
Well, this isn't really collegiate chapter good news and I guess it isn't all that exciting, but I'm going to join the Pasadena Alumnae chapter as well as the Inland Empire Alumnae chapter, of which I'm all ready a member. :D I met a bunch of the ladies from the Pasadena chapter and they're amazing (mostly USC grads, a wide range of ages and backgrounds), and I'm really excited because I miss "sorority life" and I need more female friends!
And to top it off, I'm going to be helping out with UCR's recruitment this weekend AND introducing my mom to her first recruitment experience since she initiated! :D :D :D |
I'm going back to see my girls for Homecoming this weekend, and it appears that we are currently leading the sororities in Homecoming - hurray!
|
Gamma Omega WON Homecoming, which has been dominated by SigEp since they came onto campus - I'm so happy for them!
|
Epsilon Lambda is paired with Lambda Sigma Phi, a local Christian fraternity (great guys) and SigEp for Homecoming!
We are soooooo excited! :D :D :D |

we also have the top grades on campus, of all fraternities, sororities, and of the average woman at our university.
we had a powderpuff football tournament that we won this weekend for the 2nd year in a row (last year was the first year it was held) snaps for us! |
We ended up winning third place in the Homecoming parade! Everyone had a lot of fun during the week.
I'll post up a picture of our lawn decoration when I get the chance! |

Zeta Epsilon-Duquesne University
Hi sisters!
I just wanted to brag a bit about the reason that I haven't been here in a million years! I am the advisor for the awsome Gamma Phi's at DU and they went from #6 in GPA to #2 which puts them at 3.35 ahead of all womens and all sorority! Also for recruitment that made quota which was 13. They are doing so well and at a time when it is becoming difficult to be greek on campus. Love in IIKE Megan |
Zeta Sigma's First Year
Hi Ladies... I first off want to introduce myself.. I'm Chaunte'.. a charter sister of the Zeta Sigma Chapter at the University of South Carolina.. I'm so excited to be a part of your sisterhood now.. I'm loving it and couldn't be any happier....
Just wanted to share some progress of the Zeta Sigma chapter with everyone: - The Charter class initiated 90 girls back in March =) - The Chapter was also installed onthe same day by International President Linda Johnson - The Ladies of Zeta Sigma had their first informal recruitment in Januaray, recruting 21 girls who were initiated this past weekend! - April 15- first philanthropy supporting CampFire USA- 1st Annual Flamingo Bingo- raising over $500 =) Love in IIKE, Chaunte |
Delta Lambda at UCR won Greek Week last night! And they won sorority sports week football for the second year in a row!
|
The Gamma Eta chapter at Cal State Long Beach won Greek Sing along w/Phi Kappa Tau.
Congratulations to them! |
Gamma Omega is moving back into an official house next year, on the Greek row! They have an unofficial house right now - we moved out of our old house which was just off of the row due to landlord issues.
Our new house used to be rented by a fraternity who trashed it, and the landlord has spent the last year remodelin g it for our chapter. I am so excited to see the inside when I am back at Homecoming! :D |
Very cool for them!:D

I tried to see if International would post this next to our chapter information, but figured I could do it here as well and keep with the idea of Chaunte. Zeta Rho chapter at Texas A&M finally has a website! I'm still working on it a bit and I have fixed some of the harder to read pages, just not uploaded them yet, but here it is:
http://gammaphibeta.tamu.edu |
IH will post links for chapter websites on the International website. I believe it's not automatic though. We've had ours for so long that I'm having trouble remembering but I think it goes through a review process to be sure that you are in compliance with the guidelines and then it will be posted. Send the link to IH and see what they tell you about the process. Also, there is an Internet Technology Team and the members (with contact info)are listed in the Volunteer Directory that is in the members only section. The leader of that group will be able to tell you the process. Her name is Tammie Benyk and she is very helpful.

The Texas A&M site looks awesome!!!

Thank you! I have to say I love the South Carolina one as well...in fact I like all of the chapter websites I have looked at, which is pretty much all of them when I was setting up our chapter website list for ours.
