Yesterday, my BF and I went to the SPCA and adopted a lil 2 month old kitten!!! She's so cute!

I like how her front right paw is orange and white :) It's like they took a leg from another cat and sewed it onto her. hehe. She's roaming around our place and climbing all over us. It's my first cat, so it should be interesting and fun.

No pictures of my new kitten yet. God a 6 month old maine coon (he's all black) from the animal rescue center on Monday. He's been chasing our older cat around the apartment (the older cat is only 2, so not really old). Seems like they're having fun.

Just scheduled my new kitten to be neutered. Taking away the poor guy's manhood. Very sad.

A Maine Coon cat? My brother had one, and while he wasn't the least bit fat, that cat weighed 35 pounds!! That's a LOT of cat when it's in your lap!!

oh, for anyone getting a new kitty i just tried SOFTPAWS for the first time on my cat and they are terrific!

You can order them online and it is a much better alternative to declawing.

I wanted a big cat. I've always had big cats. Our current 2 yr old cat is a lightweight by my standards -- only 11 pounds. "Tolstoy" (the new kitten's name) should be a big guy.

Right now, we're calling her PJ. Depending on her personality, we might change it. But it seems to fit so far. Last night was her first night home with us. She was sooo cute. She slept inbetween us and woke us up at 6 a.m. for food. Right now, she's napping in my lap. :) She climbs all over us and sits on our shoulder. My favorite thing is when she runs she kind of hop/prances. :D
