This montage is neither odd nor peculiar.

that's odd because people have been made uneasy with this montage, due to it's incomprehensibilty!

yes, so disquieting the koreans have deleted the thread housing the image at their forum! Though i've started a replacement thread, containing the very same montage!:p Also i attempted to start posting at a 'Lightning' forum, with this is my debut there. that thread was quickly locked, i created a thread to ask why it had been closed and was then promptly banned (lightning quick reations there, from first post to banning, it must have been 15mins)

i'm hoping to start posting at a 'Vegatable forum', but what reception i'll get, who knows!;) and maybe i'll wait till next montage too!

and thanks for informing me as to what the liesman is, ....i could use that in a montage.........

Thrillhouse 09-07-2004 08:45 PM

Another classic! Peculiar, yet great.

I doubt that people were made uneasy with this montage because it was confounding and peculiar. Some of the reactions you get probably have a lot more to do with the fact that you're posting montages in "Korean", "lightening", and "vegtable" discussion boards. If your montage has nothing to do with anime, and you post on an anime board, then you really shouldn't be surprised that your posts get flamed, deleted or you get banned. Of course people will be confounded when you post something completely and utterly off-topic. I guess GC is an exception in that we have an area especially designated for off-topic postings.

Right, well, when there is something to praise, I'll praise. This isn't one of those moments. I'm not trying to slag you off, mate... I just don't like this montage. :) The only part worth a mention was the shot of your face obscured by a flower. That pic is somewhat odd and thus I like it. Otherwise, I am thoroughly unimpressed with this one.

Don't get me wrong, I think you totally rock the montage world. I just won't lie to you when I think your montage is tat. :p I am starting to wonder if people aren't taking the mick out of you when they continuously post how "genius" you are like 100% of the time. Then again, maybe you *are* genius 100% of the time and it's just that perhaps I'm simply a little more discriminating. :)

I honestly thought this one was great. It seemed to me anyways that it is a peculiar way of pondering what to put outside in terms of landscaping.

As stated above, this guy is the best. THE BEST!

omega2 09-08-2004 05:52 AM

ah, here's a new forum that didn't ban me with this montage. quite a helpful response in fact! http://www.spug.net/showthread.php?t=60491

the entirety of that paragraph is binned because in all cases i post on their off topic boards!!!!!!!

oh they don't. i'm mocked 70% time. it doesn't deter me because i enjoy doing them. but thankyou for putting forward your honest opinion:)

Very good! lol, you solved the montage! You're cleverer than me, and the 450 people who saw this montage!!!!!!!

here's some more oddity gone rotten:-
http://www.trenzhost.com/files/omega2/fzcs.jpg

in the first photo, i'm attempting to beat Tom Baker's massive smile, but i can't do it:mad: Tom Baker, like Barbara Hershey and me, is half jewish. So i thought i might have a chance, but i couldn't rival him:mad:

Uhm....right then.

Wow, omega2, all of your montages are absolutely, positively, the most brilliant things I have ever seen. I throw myself at your handsome feet in profound admiration for your exceedingly clever mind. I think I fancy you more than I fancy Richard E. Grant. Were I but a flower in your garden of montages, I would die happy.

I said *I* did not find the montage odd. The only other thing would be where I mused aloud about whether or not others might be taking the piss. It wasn't meant to be an offensive comment - I apologize if you or they took it as such. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings. I feel that you possibly didn't respect *my* opinion as your response to my assessment was that Thrillhouse liked it and then you even posted links to others sites to prove that my opinion was divergent from others.

I was under the impression from your previous postings that you very much wanted to get feedback regarding your montages. I almost always enjoy the montages and, when I don't, I let you know that too.

OH! And you'd be better off 'fancying' Tom Baker!

As someone who actually likes scifi, I have to say that I absolutely, positively, cannot stand Dr. Who. I remember there was a Dr. Who marathon on last year and I avoided it like the plague (even though I think my boyfriend wanted to Tivo the whole lot!). The same week, a bunch of friends wanted to come over with Dr. Who DVDs and watch them at my flat! I darn near had a heart attack! I told them they're welcome to come over and spend the evening enjoying the episodes....but I'd be down at the local until they were ready to move on to another programme. :p I don't know what my problem is, I've tried watching it but I simply can't stand it. I can't even sit still through a single epsiode! With that said, Tom Baker is pretty cool though. You're right, his big toothy grin is something else! :)

...shame he's 70 now though...

Hey! That's never stopped me before!! :D One of the people on my list of "Men Kelly Fancies" is Sean Connery! :)

I was greatly dismayed, you know, when the BBC didn't cast me as the new Dr. I'm a natural eccentric you see, but apparently the wanted to subdue this aspect of his character:( Anyway, below is what might have been,,,,;) :-

Actually, you do make a good Doctor.......

BTW - Isn't the BBC producing a new Doctor Who series set for release in 2005?

To take a personal interest in me (enquiring where, exactly, i'm from in Britiain etc.) is to lead to nowhere. Also, I'm part jewish, you're no part:) You've a boyfriend, you owe him your sole affections:)

Uhm...... I didn't realize it was a major faux pas to try and make connections with folks. I always imagined that speaking to people was a good way of making friends. (???) I mean, there have been loads of other people on GC that I've taken a personal interest in....people from my hometown, people who share the same hobbies, people in my sorority, etc. I didn't think asking you where you are from was going to "worry" you or cause you to think that I was trying to chat you up.

Wow. Your eyes are very blue. Are they contacts?

omega2 09-09-2004 06:58 PM

no, what happened is that the camera gave everything a blue hue and washed my skin colour out to a deathly pale!. my eyes are, in reality, green with a touch of grey.
