OMFG it's a long weekend!!
So what are all the GC'ers up to this weekend?
Tonight: pitchers of margaritas with a friend from high school Satuday: Horseshoes at a friend's house, grilling out, then going to a party Sunday: no plans yet but I can only assume we'll play horseshoes and grill again as long as we don't get any Frances residual Monday: outlet shopping, my favorite activity of all |
I have no exciting plans for the weekend.
Probably clean my room. Pick up a few things for school. I have plans to see a movie with a friend. I'll just play it by ear and see what comes up. |
Saturday: go to OU vs BGSU game at 11AM. From there go to UCO v. Abilene Christian Game at 6PM.
I have no other plans yet. Saturday should be a blast though. |
Today - Monday: WORK like 40 hours
The logical solution is boozing Monday night. That's right, I said booze. When your kids are 21 y/o seniors with an ulcer about law school who work almost-full time and go to school, they will booze too. :) |
Our office is closing at 3:30 today. I probably will be in the field anyways so I will just go home when I am done seeing my last client. Tonight probably dinner and drinks, tommorrow I am going to work for a few hours with my Hope 2 "children" (the old program I used to work for, I spend a few hours working with them every Saturday) and then probably I'll go out to Long Island. Sunday is a toss up between either going upstate to see my family and my uncle visiting from DC or going out to dinner with my boyfriend and his family to celebrate his grandma's 80th birthday. Monday is a BBQ no doubt.
|
Tonight: Going to a get together
Saturday: Going to SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA!! Woo-Hoo! Sunday: African Festival of the Arts Monday: Sleeping IN! |
The forecast calls for absolutely GORGEOUS weather! :D
Tonight, a nice romantic dinner at home with my husband. For the rest of the long weekend, general relaxation is on the agenda... no particular plans. |
I need some plans pronto!
|
Tonight: possibly meeting up with friends downtown
Tomorrow: catching the CU/CSU game at a bar somewhere Sunday: hiking in the mountains Monday: volunteering and drinking |
Three of my best friends (all groomsmen) are coming into town this weekend. My sister is moving back in for college as well, so I'll be helping out with that.
We need some stuff for our apartment...we'll probably try to do that this weekend. |
Off today! Gonna help the Alpha Phis move into their new chapter room
Saturday-off. Gonna shop and chill Sunday-work 645a-315p (ewwwwww!) Monday-work 3-11p and take that holiday pay and laugh all the way to the bank |
Tonight: Work, taking my friend who just got out of the hospital some dinner and keeping him company for a bit, then off to a party
Saturday: I have two weeks of Stat homework to catch up on :( And I have to work at 5, BOO Sunday: NOTHING!!! Monday: More homework :( My life isn't very fun, sad to say... |

|
Friday: drive 5 hrs to Raleigh.
Sat: NC State game (first game of the year) :D Sunday: buy engagement present. Must be something weird. No ideas as of yet. Go to church. Eat Bojangles. Drive 5 hrs back to DC. Monday: Prevent parents' german shepherds from agressively sniffing the crotch of every picnic-going guest they invited to the house; workity 5-11. |
FRIDAY: Work until 10pm or so.
SATURDAY: Help chapter prepare for recruitment. When I get home from that.....pack, pack, pack for a move to Virginia. SUNDAY: pack, pack, pack for a move to Virginia. MONDAY: pack, pack, pack for a move to Virginia. TUESDAY: pack, pack, pack for a move to Virginia. WEDNESDAY: Load, load, load the UHAUL..... THURSDAY: START DRIVING!!!!!! PsychTau |

it will be a long weekend for me too
i get to go home for the first time in about three months |
I have to maintain my "hooking up on all the three day weekends this summer" streak. Other than that:
Tonight: small "J. can drink again" party Tomorrow: football game, L's birthday party Sunday: getting stuff together for my sister's surprise party, Taste of Madison Monday: my sister's surprise birthday party, Bratfest |
Tonight: Celebrating friend's b-day at the Mezzanine in San Francisco. John Digweed is DJing (YAY!)
Tomorrow: sleep in, drive home, hair appointment (still have no idea what I am doing with it.) Sunday: Cal State Fair (final weekend) Monday: RELAX for the first time in ages. Then we're eating our anniversary dinner at the restaurant at which he proposed Sunday: various crafty things and working around the house, cleaning and other homeowning duties Monday: relaxing, doing nothing, maybe a bbq, celebrating our 1st anniversary! |
Tonight: Probably going out to dinner, hanging out w/ friends.
Tomorrow: Met Museum w/ Mr. Munch, pubbing it w/ friends. Sunday: Sleep in, maybe clean up my apartment. Monday: Ideally, I'll hang out w/ family. |

Sunday: Work, then go home and study. Monday: Going to Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones' 11th Congressional Picnic Event at Luke Easter Park. John Kerry is supposed to be there. then it's home for do some more Studying. |
Last Night: went out to a party at a friend's house and fulfilled GP's mission
Today: working, watching the Miami-Michigan game, homework and grocery shopping, and having a flip cup tournament in my yard tonight Tomorrow: working, laundry, cookout at the Phi Tau house, going to the bars Monday: working, homework :( I love 3-day weekends! |
Friday: Drove back home to the Nati, got my hair did, ate crab legs & lobster, watched Godsend with JharbMom, drank lots of Raspberry Woodchuck and slept in my wonderful bed.
Saturday: Chilling out at work (yay for working in a Mattress store). Sunday: WEBN/Third Federal Fireworks (I say the sponsors since I get to be in the Third Federal VIP area). I may also be getting a new cellphone! Monday: Driving back to school and taking our TGC out for Senior Dinner, formal chapter followed by my Big Sis being in town thanks to the hurricane. Chumleys better watch out! :D I love not having Friday classes so it's a 4 day weekend. |

ps. say hi to the trinity church @ copley sq! |
i just hope you non-florida people are thankful for what you have and where you are. i do love being in florida, but like everyone else, i wish i were else where right now. florida has to go through for at least three straight days of this hurricane just creeping along. so while the rest of you guys are celebrating your holiday weekend, there are thousands of people right now that will no longer have no homes to go to, no more regular lives to live, and no where to turn. i may be in a lucky part of florida, but i still will have tons of winds and heavy rains. my dad is here with me, but he lives in ocala (south of gainesville) and i just pray his home is okay cause he lives among a number of tress and a tornado has been reported near there.
so florida does apprecate all of your prayers, and i hope that this state makes it through this history making storm. :( |

I went to VA Beach for vacation during Hurricane Charley to visit my brother, my vacation was all rainy and indoors, but you didn't hear me boo-hooing. I was just glad I got to go and see him before he left for six months. If you really want to discuss this it doesn't belong in long weekend plans...it belongs in the thread on the hurricane. |
