Thanks!
Thank you for including East Carolina University in that list! We've got 7 great guys and we're hoping to start a 2nd pledge class in November. (Let's see how three pledge classes in a year works out...)
|
Beta Psi has taken 5 pledges.
2 legacies. |
oh, well if we're distinguishing legacies, ECU has two legacies right now in our Delta pledge class.
|
Bump as of 11/19/04.

Denison
"Denison (Alpha Eta) just had 39 pledge to be the founding fathers of the colony... 9 seniors, 6 juniors, 24 sophomores (freshman arent allowed to pledge in the fall here)... Im so excited to pledge..."
that has change, just this Saturday, we were initiated, and 29 of the 39 men became Betas so there were only 29 from Denison in the end, but we are just now starting are formal rush, so April 16, we'll have even more |
Eastern Washington's Epsilon Omega started out with 8 pledges, we're now down to 7 of us. We're a strong class, as I found out last night at our pledge retreat. Chi class forever!
|
Zeta Nu in DC started with 10, finished at 8
Got initiated first week of december |
Thanks for the info, I have updated the list! Welcome to Greek Chat, stick around bro!

What up boys...Beta Psi Chapter, 1904
I've been reading threads on the message boards for quite some time...but I'm new to the whole registration thing. Thought I'd start talking with other brothers of fellow chapters about rush and the pledging process. I'm going to be ending my reign as philanthropy chair next semester and was just recently elected to rush chair (co-chairing w/ 2 other guys); We're trying to do something different than previous brothers have attempted. Any and all ideas will be appreciated. Fisher youre a bitch...haha _________________________ "Gimme some god damn Kai" |
Delta Pi Chapter at University of Louisville, Kentucky started with 24 pledges and ended up with 13 initiating.
|
How did you guys go from 24 to 13?
-kai- |
A lot of Pledges dropped themselves because of their schedules and grades. Granted, we did have a big rush for UofL, but you would have had to have been there to understand why they left.
|
Mr Gravy just wanted to clarify that we initiated 14. and we had only 2 of the 24 that were dropped the rest dropped themselves.
|
I guess it's time to start posting Spring Rush results.
Beta Psi (Morgantown, WV) recruited 13, with one being a legacy. A&F Beta, another brother, and myself busted our asses to get a good program going finally. It was a success, but I was almost sure that we were going to get ~17 or 18 guys. We had a few that wanted to defer until next fall. All we really needed was 10 so that we would come back with the same number of brothers next fall as we did this year. We had quite a few guys graduate this year. Beta Psi is finally getting back to where it was before our re-organization. |
Congrsts on the great spring rush. Very rarely does a chapter get 100% of who they think they're going to get, so I'd say 13 is pretty good. Nice job! Keep in touch with the few guys that decided to defer, rush them all semester and summer long, they'll be Beta's next year for sure.
Good luck and congrats at getting back to where you were! -kai- |
Epsilon Alpha (ECU) has bidded 6 guys as of Wednesday... definitely not what we "need" for various reasons, but that's what happens when your campus is only 8% Greek. We'll be doing RTS this week, so hopefully that'll help beef up the pledge class.
|
The WVU campus is maybe 2-3% greek. The stereotypes here are ridiculous...but often deserved b/c of some of the frats here. I'm working on a rush book for my chapter that I'll send to you if you want Jacob. There are a lot of good ideas in it that I haven't had a chance to implement yet-but will this fall.
|
We're actually going up to UVa next weekend to initiate their chapter... should be fun. But yeah, we're always looking for help from different places.
|
Louisville reporting in with 5 pledges. Bah I hate Spring rushes.
|
Just remember, rush is a year long event...not just limited by the week that is outlined for it. Always keep that mentality, and you can almost always acquire the number that youre shooting for. Keep up the good work boys, bust your asses, and you'll get your numbers. Good luck to you all.
