Rush help
 

I'm rushing at U of Memphis next week. The chapters there are Pi Beta Phi, Phi Mu, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, Alpha Gamma Delta, Sigma Kappa, and Delta Gamma. I was wondering if I could get some tips on going through rush from members of any of these sororities. There aren't houses here, I think it's done in sorority suites. What kind of questions will I be asked? How can I make a good impression? Thanks for any help.

How wonderful for her! I wrote a rec for her, so I was wondering where she went. She had a glowing resume and I know she would be an asset to any of the groups on campus. I'm sure her Phi Mu grandma's very proud!

I don't think it's stealing thunder, after all, she hasn't been back to post in over 2 weeks.

Thank you all for your support. I was very nervous when I started recruitment b/c I was kind of untraditional as a 21 year old sophomore (I had to start school late due to a family illness). Since I go to Southern school, I know factors like that can really put you at a disadvantage. I wanted to get the most out of my college experience though (since I started last Spring, this was the first chance I had to go through). Recruitment was exhausting, but fun. I met a lot of great girls! I really loved one particular chapter, however. The girls seemed so genuine and I really felt like I fit in there! I was so happy on bid day when I finally got to open my bid (after sitting on it for 45 minutes). I got the chapter I loved, the Gamma Eta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. I've had so much fun in the short amount of time I've already spent as an Alpha! I look forward to lifetime sisterhood in ADPi. I'm so proud to be a member of the First and Finest! I just wanted to say thank you to all of the women who helped me!
